I like the ease in which you can use this Aerobic Step. This one is solid. I can pull it out while I watch my favorite television shows. Great price. I like to have a variety of workout options. This is one I've always enjoyed.

The "Tone Fitness Two-height Adjustable Aerobic Stepper" was just as described.

Assembly was easy (with my own tools) and instructions were easy to follow. Works great/looks great! My only issue is that I didn't think to measure the height of the bench at the gym that I've worked out at for years...this bench is too tall and until I get an aerobic step to put under it to support my feet (trying to use 40lb dumbbells under each foot now) it's killer (in a bad way) on my back. Looks great, works great, just know your measurements!

I really like this step. Its not to high, and its not too low. It could be slightly wider, and longer. The one thing I really dislike is that it REALLY hurts my hands when I do tricep dips, etc on it.

very pleased with this product, recommended by my doctor to get my heart rate up and lower my overall cholesterol. I can do this while watching my favorite TV show.

This step seems to be too short in length as some of the exercises that I do need more length. I wish I had looked elsewhere before buying this one. I am making it work, but would have preferred a longer one.

We leave this stepper in plain site in our living space for use daily for a little leg-stepping therapy and it looks okay and works well. Very sturdy and just the right height for our use. Very pleased.

these mats are far too light for non-stationary exercises (aerobics, etc.). probably sufficient as padding for stationary exercises (under exercise bike or weight bench, etc.).

Packaging was good, arrived in a timely manner, but I was expecting the step to be longer for some reason. This is probably my fault for not really measuring out how long it was so that I could get a good idea of what I was ordering. Next time, i'll definitely do that.

We are using for RA sufferer to give a boost into bed. Wide enough to turn around on safely with the assist of the Mighty Bed Rail for balance. And yes we know this is out of the realm of specified use but it works and is making life easier and safer.

This is all plastic, won't break down enough to fit under the bed, doesn't feel that sturdy.

Best price online anywhere AND the addon steps store INSIDE the bottom of the step. It is small but very sturdy and does not take up a lot of room. I am very happy with this!

we ordered these to set up a small home gym area in our basement. while they are very easy to put together, they don't really stay together very well when exposed to impact movement like aerobics or floor work. Also, they are not very thick so they do not provide much support on top of a concrete floor. Maybe with indoor/outdoor carpet underneath it would be more suitable.

This product has been great so far. I know there are higher priced/better quality rebounders on the market, but this one is perfect for my use - and the price was right. I use it for light aerobic exercise a few times a week. I also have a two year old who loves jumping on it (under my supervison of course). I also bought ankle weights which increase the intensity of the workout. I would recommend and am glad I made this purchase!

This product matched the picture. Not quite as sturdy as I was hoping, but is adequate.

This is a great step for the price. Durable and easy to store.

I received this product quickly and in great condition. The plastic is not as thick as I was hoping, but it will still do the job. I am using the steps with children so I actually think it will be perfect for them (it's light & smaller than other types of steps). I am very satisfied with this product.

Whenever I need to purchase something I always check with Overstock first. and usually am able to buy what I want for a great price. I ordered the trampoline and received it in a jiffy. It's light, easy to assemble, it fits under the bed, (I have a high bed) and is a handy way to get great aerobic exercise. The only drawback is that it has to off-gas for awhile because it smells like plastic chemical when it arrives.

This item is good for a basic step. I personally would have liked one that I could continuously had height to. I will do better research next time.

The stepper really does a good job of keeping my legs flexable. I use this to keep my legs strong during the winter months and the super hot summer in Texas.. A******

I actually bought this Health Club Step as a step to help me access my bed, which is much more difficult since I bought a new thicker mattress. This step is wide enough to give me complete stability and the changeable support pods give me the option of different heights. The 4" of a single support pod is perfect for my purposes. It is also a handy spot for an aerobic workout.

Getting in shape is important for your health, and a home gym is one of the best ways to reach your fitness goals. Joining an expensive gym can be a hassle, but you can avoid the crowds and save some money by creating your own home gym. Are you unsure of which pieces of home exercise equipment to buy? This guide has tips that will help you evaluate your options, so you can start your home gym that will help you reach your goals.
Using a rowing machine is a fantastic way to build muscles in your back, arms, chest and core. For people serious about home fitness, a rowing machine offers an intense aerobic and anaerobic workout that will build muscles and burn calories. Whether you are building a home gym or just want a piece of home fitness equipment to whip your body into shape, a rowing machine might be the perfect piece of gym equipment for you. Before you choose a rowing machine, it might come in handy to read a few rowing machine reviews, especially customer reviews. The main difference you'll find between one rowing machine and another is the resistance that simulates oars going through water. Some row machines use a combination of methods. Here is a quick rundown on the things you can expect out of rowing machines and the features you should look for before you buy. Pick out which one seems best for you and stick with it.
One way to make exercise more exciting is to exercise on a trampoline. Mini trampolines, or "rebounders," have become a very popular way to work some low-impact aerobic activity into your day. The soft rebound of the trampoline reduces stress on the joints while still working your muscles and lungs. Mini trampolines also let you stay inside while you work out, and they are one of the more affordable pieces of exercise equipment. If you're considering buying a rebounder for exercise, or if you already have one and aren't sure how to use it, keep reading for information on how to exercise on a trampoline.
Before you start considering athletic wear options, think about the type of exercise you'll be doing. If you've joined a gym or you're taking an aerobics class, then you'll need workout clothes that are comfortable when you're indoors. If you prefer doing yoga over running on a treadmill, then you'll need to look for clothes that let you stretch on the floor. Once you have an idea about the exercise you'll be doing, you can start shopping for the right women's workout clothes.
Get fit minus the unnecessary joint pain by using an elliptical machine. Developed to provide a full-body aerobic and toning workout that was also low-impact, the fluid motions of an elliptical machine protect your joints as you exercise. When you workout with an elliptical trainer, you get a lower body and upper body workout, thanks to the pedals and the moving handles. By avoiding injury with an elliptical workout, you'll be able to have a constant home fitness regimen that keeps you in shape and on the move.
Off-season rowers aren't the only ones rowing machines can benefit. In fact, a rower can help anyone aiming for overall fitness. The rowing motion involves several major muscle groups and will help you develop both your upper and lower body. More than that, though, rowers get your heart pumping and lungs working, providing a serious aerobic workout.
Exercise is a great way to begin a healthy regimen. Step it up by power walking. It would be difficult to discuss tips on power walking without discussing the benefits. Power walking is a low-impact aerobic exercise with high-impact results. With power walking, you can get the aerobic exercise you need and you can strength train to tone muscles. Some of the benefits of power walking include weight loss, stronger muscles, better conditioning, more energy and a general feeling of good health. When considering power walking, here are a few things to be aware of.
A heart-rate monitor is one of the most useful pieces of exercise equipment you can buy. And while it is very easy to strap on your heart monitor and measure your heart rate, you may not be getting the most out of your heart monitor. Depending on what benefits you want to get out of your workout, you will want your heart rate to be in a different range. Knowing the heart-rate target zones will help you benefit the most from your workouts. And many heart-rate monitors can be set to trigger an alarm when you reach or leave a heart-rate zone, letting you focus on your training.
Often used during exercise to increase resistance, ankle weights, sometimes called leg weights, are filled with sand or water and fasten around your ankles. The addition of ankle weights can take your ordinary routine to another level. When used during your aerobic exercises, ankle weights can effectively strengthen your core. If you enjoy power walking, leg weights and other body weights, like wrist weights, can increase the intensity of your workouts, letting you decrease the duration.
If you want to add resistance to your core training workout, strap on a weighted vest. Ideal for aerobic exercise as well as sporting competitions and training sessions, weighted vests can provide one pound to 60 pounds or more of added weight to allow you to perform sports and recreational activities under more challenging conditions. Some weight vests are designed with removable weights that are added to inside pockets, which can then be taken out as needed. Weight vests are designed for male and female athletes and sports enthusiasts alike as well as those just wanting to increase the resistance level of their fitness and core training during exercise.
Whether you want to increase general fitness or enhance sports performance, free weights can help you reach your goals. Common free weights like dumbbells and barbells as well as alternative free weights like kettlebells, medicine balls and wearable weights can help you create a serious workout routine that you can execute in your own home.
With shorter days and colder temperatures, it can be difficult to maintain your fitness during the winter. Holiday feasts don't help, either. Fortunately, it can still be easy to exercise through winter and achieve a healthy level of winter fitness. You just need to be creative; find a winter sport, act like a kid, change your winter fitness routine and stay positive.
