I can't say enough good things about this product. I just wish I'd found it sooner. It is lightweight enough and has small wheels on the front support rod that allow me to move it back and forth from the spare room I store it in to the room in front of the television. It was very easy to assemble with a few tools - only took me about 30 minutes and no spare parts! and yes, I'm a "girl". :)

Great machine. Compact and comfortable. Works great in small spaces. Portable. Love the workout tension adjustment. You could set it at a beginner speed or advance speed. I use it while watching television. It does take awhile to assemble -- I didn't have the patience to put the machine together so I had my husband do it. He said, it wasn't too complicated -- just follow the directions. It took him about two hours to put together -- easy for him to say. Lol. Anyway, if you're looking for a compact and reasable price machine, you won't regret buying this machine. Really......

Exerpeutic 400XL Folding Recumbent Exercise Bike could be very good to excellent if quality control was better. The ideal and features are well thought out. Product is only average, but the Overstock price makes it a "good" purchase. Usable, but far from being a truly quality product.

Small, easily fits in my house space. Easy to assemble and a nice ride for viewing TV while working out. Plastic parts are low quality.

Just got the bike the beginning of January and use it practically every day. I like the high back for support and the larger seat as opposed to a traditional bicycle seat. It serves it purpose, to exercise my surgical knee and my heart. I would definitely recommend this unit if you do not want to spend mega-bucks on a bike. My sister had knee surgery also and it was recommended to her to ride a stationary bike. She loves her bike also.

The bike came a little bang up especially in the inside of the handle bars, I had to bring it out with an hammer so the handle bars would go in. On the side of the cover was broken so I had to glue it with crazy glue. The handlebar foam grips the right size was broken and again I had to but black tape. But other wise and for the price is not bad, it those its work. They should check the product before shipping to make sure you getting your money worth.

This semi-recumbent bike is a very good buy. Based on good reviews from elswhere, I started searching for it. Couldn't fing it anywhere here in Canada...not unusual. Then, started searching all sites on-line. Overstock was the only one to have it. I was a little nervous about shipping something this large up from the States, but all went perfectly. It was a very reasonable shipping cost, came on time, and in perfect condition. Yay Overstock! Because I originally couldn't find the Exerpeutic anywhere, I had actually previously ordered a similar type exercise cycle-different manufacturer- from a Canadian company. It came with the box smashed up, and inside were many broken pieces rattling around. When we took it out of the box, we could see that the over-all quality was terrible. Back it went! And then we found the Exerpeutic on Overstock, and it's been a great experience. So...to the bike itself. It feels very solid and stable, and it is sooo quiet. You really can watch t.v. while you pedal and not disturb anyone else in the room. I also love that the electonics are set low so that you can watch t.v. while you're on it. Some people have felt that it might be a bit difficult to see the read-outs. I haven't had a problem with this, and it wouldn't have put me off buying it. I wanted something that I could just get on and go. But I can see them just fine. It is very comfortable. The seat is wide, and the back support feels just right. I have fibromyalgia, so this is all very important to me. It feels very solid and smooth when pedalling. I am doing a few arm exercises while I pedal, just to get things moving all over. I think that this bike can work well with an adjustable desk so that you could work on a computer and pedal away. I haven't tried this yet, but I'm going to! I work from home, so this could be a huge plus. I hope the bike holds up- it feels like it will. I've owned it for a few weeks now. I will update in awhile. To sum up, I love this Exerpeutic bike, and can recommend it to anyone. Also, thanks to Overstock for a really good experience!

We received this within three days of order. I was on vacation so my son put together. Went together easy. So far we have put about 80 miles on it. No problems and great construction. Easy to use in front of T.V.

This was such a great buy. It is made very well. It is comfortable and quiet. I have it in a spare bedroom. It does not take up much room at all. Very nice large and comfortable seat. Extremely easy to manage. Love the fact that it shows how many miles I am doing. I turn on the TV and just start peddling away. The time goes by fast. My husband had it together in about 40 minutes. No problems. My girlfriend liked it so much that she ordered one also. It comes well packaged with easy instructions. You will be surprised how much you will enjoy this bike. I have a back problem and with this bike being easy to operate, I have no problems with my back. I ordered the bike after reading all the great reviews it got. You won't be disappointed.

This exercise bike was very easy to assemble, I did it myself with the tools that were included in the packaging. The size is perfect for a small area and the fact that it is light enough to move and can be folded and stored adds to it's appeal. I only have one problem with it. The left pedal shaft stopped moving smooth (the right one is still fine). That really isn't a huge problem, but then it started squeaking. Now that's annoying, kind of ruins the workout. I sprayed some WD-40 on the shaft and it seems like it might have fixed the squeak - at least it was quiet this morning. Hopefully that won't ruin anything. I did email the company last night - haven't heard back yet. I still really like it and would buy another if need be.

It was good I had read the reviews before we pit it together. THe parts are already on the frame etc, need to be removed and put back on. The diagram had so many parts on it, it was confusing. I have 1 part that I can't find where it belongs. All parts were there, yet some were loose in the box. The parts all seem to be quality metal. THe seat is large enough and comfortable. My problem came when I tried to get on. I had the seat at it's lowest point and it was close to the computer panel. I had to swing my leg over the panel to be able to get into the seat. WHen on the seat I found the panel too close. I had my husband change the pin position on the panel side as I thought it was giving me 2 positions to choose from. However the 2nd position is for folding it and puts the screenaway from you and horizontal to the ceiling. From this position I could not read the screen, however I found it not safe with the computer screen too close to me because of the getting on and off was difficult. It is a good thing I wasn't going to use the screen anyway, just pedal at a speed that is comfortable for me and for the time I want to do it. I find the seat comfortable as well as the back. It makes me sit straight. For the price it is a wonderful bike and would be so for a more expensive one if there was a way to adust the seat distance from the screen.

This is a very nice bike. Easy to assemble, the tools you need come with it. It is so quiet it's hard to believe it's working. Some of the reviews that I read say the pulse and calorie readings are off but as long as the time and distance work that's fine with me. Overall it seems to be a very good product.
