It gets the tiny bugs but the fly problem never went away, it didn't attract flys or moths and even if it did, the bars are to close together it looks for them to fit through.. I'll never know.

Such a great product. Holds the charge and works great, so great I ordered another. Great for camping or backyard parties. LOVE this !!

What a wonderful gadget! We charge it at home, then take it with us to the mountains when we get firewood. The mosquitoes are especially aggressive this year, so this bug zapper is a welcome addition to our arsenal!

Flies and mosquitoes were sneaking into my home. The first night I used them (I bought two, one for each level of my home) the fireworks began. Between the two zappers, in one night they killed 3 flies and two mosquitoes. When it gets them, you hear a loud snap and they fall into the tray that easily empties when you want to clean it out. I use them each night (instead of night lights) and I no loner worry about a rogue fly or other insect getting into my home. That's because I know later in the night they will be dead. I hate insects in my home and this product has put me at ease. I've told my friends and family about this and I would highly recommend. I just hope the light lasts a few summer seasons. Too early to comment on the life of the bulb.
