  • A+

I purchased this Emerson telescope for my eleven year old son who is totally interested in "big boy toys" but still treats and cares for them like a toddler. I needed something reasonably priced with quality craftsmanship and I got it! He is thouroughly enjoying his gift and I don't have to panic everytime someone bumps into it for fear that it may be broken.

  • Telescope with Tripod

I am very pleased with this purchase and was pleasantly suprised by the sturdiness of the product. It was easy to assemble and is a welcome addition to our stargazing equipment.

  • Perfect for a child's 1st telescope

My son saved his money and decided this is what he wanted to spend it on. He is THRILLED !!! It fits our needs, and he is happy. This is not for a professional astronomer, but for a little boy looking at stars and moon from his backyard if is perfect. It is affordable, and if it does get dinged up you are not going to be out a lot of money.

  • FALSE ADVERTISING

This products claims its "lightweight durable aluminum construction" FALSE!! The only aluminum in the entire telescope is in the tripod. The telescope itself is all plastic. Very poorly designed.

  • No instructions to set up.

This telescope was intended for my grandson at Christmas. Upon opening the box, no instructions were packed inside. My grandson wanted to keep it, but he forgot to notify the seller. I've learned recently that he forgot but will contact the seller.
