jaw68 from NJ, Rating:3.0I gave it only 3 stars because it does not replace an elliptical, however, for what it is, it works. You will definitely sweat, the resistance is good. Having the calorie counter is great - most of the time, even the ones at the gym, are not totally accurate, so give or take 50 calories. It IS hard on your knees, so if that is something you have trouble with, I do not recommend it. It is great for a quick work out while you are watching TV.

snowb7 from Los Angeles, LA, Rating:4.0Great machine, compact size, but quality was a bit lacking. One screw fell on my tile floor and cracked. Otherwise great machine that's easily stored away.

essie44 from Texas, Rating:5.0I am well pleased with this purchase and have no complaints. After reading all the reviews am more pleased than I expected. I had no trouble putting it together (I'm a grandmother). It's light weight and easy to move which is exactly what I wanted and it takes up very little space when not in use. As for being noisy....mine isn't and the tension on the stepping mechanism can be tightened to give one at my weight and height (I"m 5' 3" and 135 lbs) a very good workout. Of course, I am some out of shape, hence the reason I purchased this. Needed to strengthen legs and for cardiovascular and it will be very effective. Also, thought it was an extra service to include the batteries for the counter that fits on the handle which works well counting calories and timing my workout.
