The Exerpeutic 4000 Magnetic Elliptical Trainer can handle up to a 270-pound user weight capacity. An elliptical is an excellent way to get a great cardio workout without the impact on knees, shins and ankles. The design and construction is aerodynamic to not take up a lot of space and the E4500 is perfect for tight locations. An LCD display computer, double transmission drive system, computer integrated magnetic tension resistance and hand pulse sensors for targeting heart rate zones are all high end features included on the EXERPEUTIC 4000 Elliptical at a very affordable price.

Hard to pedal Seems very hard to pedal. I'm hoping it will loosen up. It takes alot of force to rotate the pedala around, even on lowest resistance. Feels more like you are exercising on a weight machine than cardio.

Missing shims and cup holder Fairly easy to assemble. Hand rails are narrow and hit my shoulders if I am holding the pulse grips. The plastic bushings on the handrails and the cup holder was missing. When you assemble the rear foot bars, make sure your really tighten them. I had one slip off the first night I used it. Very quiet, operates smoothly.

Based on my research, this appeared to be the best value in lower-priced ellipticals. No plug required means easy setup when moving from room to room, which was important to me. Magnetic resistance was a must. Also, one of the longest stride lengths in this class. Although I won't be stretching the weight capacity, the fact that it has a high weight capacity indicates its engineered to endure greater wear and tear.
