I purchase these for my grandkids, who range is age from 3 to 8. The kids loved it so much that my 12-year-old great niece, for who I didn't get one because I'd decided she was too old for it, took one. My 13-year-old nephew also wants one, so now I have to buy two more. Go figure ;-D
This easel is a great size for a child. It is easy to set up and does not take up too much space. It does seem to create more boundaries for painting on the paper than having the paper laying flat on a table. Child thought she was an artist using this.
I have a toddler childcare group with limited space and a limited budget. I was hoping to find a nice easel that was easy to store away when not being used. This tabletop easel does just that, at a good price. We have a nice sturdy table that is perfect to be used with this easel. The easel is well made and I'm sure it will be well used in our group.
This was a little bit of a disappointment. The chalk broke immediately after the kids took it out of the box and it does not bring the dry-erase markers. It was very disappointing to hear my 4 year old nephew say "what's this other side for?" after he opened it. I don't think they will be playing with it often. Should've bought him something else.
The easel is a good size and functional once you fix the cords holding the paper on the sides. The one I received wouldn't open all the way, cords were too short, so you couldn't use the locking arm; it didn't work in the storage position either. Once I put new cords in it works well. A useful product just not out of the box.
