I bought this Jellyfish lamp for my 7-year-old niece and both of us think it is one of the coolest toys we've ever seen! The jellyfish are so life-like she thought they were alive after I set it up. The lighting is beautiful and makes a phenomenal night light; it's really helped her sleep through the night. She's been showing it off to all of her friends, and I think this is going to be my number one Christmas gift this year. Great buy!

This was bought as gift for a 2 year. A child with a learning disability so we wanted it for a night light and for him to look at as if was a fish tank. He loved it in his room he fed the fish special food and slept with the fish. He enjoyed the fish and the wonderful colors and it gave him a special job to do each day.

MY 8 year old liked this item. It says that it needs 3 AA batteries but AAA fits as well and will work. The jellyfishes float to the top mostly but she enjoys it none the less so that is what matters.

I was disappointed after I had placed an order for this I walked into a Tuesday Mornings store and found the exact same product for ***. Would not recommend ordering for this price.

The product shipped quickly, was reasonably priced and just as described. A great gift for younger kids, and intriguing for adults. Assembly was easy but requires a little time and attention. Product overall was exactly as I'd hoped and I would recommend it to anyone with children.

I bought this lamp and the lights and fan would not turn off. I exchanged it for a new one and the new one didn't go on. Would not recommend this.

Grandkids loved this item.Bright colors and movements kept the boys attention.. They loved the tornado lamp also. The order was for two. One worked great.... the other one didn't. Returning the defaulted one was not a problem.

Simple, but the kids love it. It's a great thing for them to look at while going to sleep. They like the changing colors. Would make a unique, nice gift.

Received as a gift, daughter was excited. Set it up, left it overnight and found it in a puddle of water the next day. Wrote it off as messy setup, the next night, a new puddle. This is junk - save your money and buy something else.

Alright but, even though I did everything the instructions said, the jellyfish don't stay at mid tank and it rushes through the rechargeable batteries and has no electrical power cord included!

This product is exactly as advertised. Unfortunately, I failed to recognize that it uses batteries instead of a plug. Not the most efficient options for a night light for my 2 boys. It does require water, which I am concerned is going to be all on the floor one of these mornings when one of the boys accidentally knocks it over. It is fairly well made and fun to watch the "jellyfish" being pushed around by the water pump on the top, but given maintenance issues, battery operated and potential mess, you may want to consider other options if you purchase this as a nightlight for young children.

I was very disappointed in this product. I followed all the directions. I used bottled water. The jellyfish legs kept getting caught in the blower as soon as you turned it on.

I was very excited when I brought this home for my 10 yr. old autistic son because he really responds well to colors and it promised to be a nice soothing way for him to drift off to sleep. Well, first of all, none of the 3 different adapters I tried (to save on batteries) worked. They were all way to powerful and made the motor in the lid whine too loudly. Then I tried batteries. It turned on when I pressed the button but would not turn off when I pressed it again. I had to literally take the batteries out to get it to turn off. Plus, I tried to push the "set" button the correct amount of times to get the color I wanted to show. ALL the colored lights were on at the same time and would not go off either. Sadly, I took this back to the store and they had no more left to exchange it with, but I don't know if a new one would work any better. Watch out if you buy this product. It's a lot of money for way too much fussing!!

The tentacles get stock in the suction system. Also it leaks even when you follow the instruction and add water up to the line, if water is below the line, then the suction system won't be able to get the water to create the moving effect. It has potential if someone redesign it.
