Purchased this as a gift for a friend's son who was turning two. This quickly became his favorite item and enjoys playing in it and keep all of his other toys corralled in the back. Very pleased with the purchase. Too soon to know of its durability with a two year old...
This isn't the sturdiest but it's a fun set up for my son. I like the fact it collapses down.
- Please tell us about the quality of the product. good quality
- Was the product free of any manufacturer defects? we could not inflate the steering wheel
My 3 year old nephew has now taken up residency in this tent. It has provided hours and hours of fun time for him. He LOVES it.
- How accurate was the sizing? larger than I had expected
- Please tell us about the quality of the product. very durable
- Was the product free of any manufacturer defects? None that I saw.
This truck tent is pretty big, which isn't so good for the parents, but is great fun for the kids!
I purchased this for my grandson's 1st birthday party. It was an outdoor party and there were kids from 1 - 13 in attendance. I found a bag of 100 plastic balls to put in the truck bed. This was a big hit with the kids from 4 - 7. They were quite rough with it and it held up well. There will be another family party next month, and I'm sure the kids will be looking for it.
My 2 year old loves this truck! I like that you can fold it up and put it away when he is done. My son is very rough with it and it is still in great condition!
This was a Xmas gift to my nephew in another state, & was sent directly to him so I did not see the actual item, but they sent me pictures of Ryan playing in it and his grandfather interacting with him in it. They loved it & the fact that it folds up for storage.
I bought this for my son (he is three-years-old) for Christmas. He loves it. He has so much fun playing in it. At the end of the day, I love being able to fold it flat and store it behind our entertainment center.
My 20 month old LOVES this tent truck. He plays in it for a LONG time. He enjoys moving the steering wheel and pretending he's driving, playing basket ball, and playing with other toys in the "bed" of the truck. If you put a blanket on the top of the bed it turns into a fort and he loves that too. He also likes to play peak a boo through the mesh windows. It's a great toy and offers the imagination to go wild. What's also nice is that it folds up in a second and you can store it under the couch or bed when it's time to clean up at the end of the night. I highly recomend this toy. Overstock offers it for the least amount of money I've shopped at elsewhere.
The truck pop up tent is so cute. It was packed so well, and in such a small box! It is precious, not sure if it is the tent or my 20 month old grandson, but he loved it. He, his Grandpa, and 2 med. size dogs got in the truck cab and he thought it was so funny! I am sure he will have lots of fun with this. The steering wheel is blow up, which is OK. I think it was a hit with everyone.
I purchased the pop-up truck for my son who is 21 months and very active. He loves it! He loves throwing the ball in the hoop that is in the back of the truck...the only thing is it didn't come with a ball and the size of the rim and net is very small - good thing we had a soft bball that fit. I couldn't ask for more for the price, it was very affordable and my son will play in it all day.
I just bought this play tent for my two grand-nephews and it was a huge hit on Christmas morning. They have spent hours at a time just piling their toys in and out of the back! It was a great buy, made of good quality and it was received in time for the holiday. A perfect gift!!
I gave my 16 month old nephew this tent for Christmas and he loved it! It seems very durable so far. He climbs all over it and it just pops right back into place. Thanks Overstock!
I got this for my 20 month old son and it was a HUGE hit! he loves how the door opens and closes and he can crawl from the cab of the truck to the bed of the truck. This has played a major role in letting him use his imagination. The product is bigger than i was expecting, however, it folds back down small enough that it did not matter all. He enjoys the fact that adults can fit into the cab with him (there is a permanently open sunroof in the top of the cab that allows for head room. It is easy to pop up and somewhat easy to bend back to the small size. We love to take the pop up car to grandma's, it's a good toy to take because they can play with him and it helps him feel better about being away from home.
Bought this truck for my 3 year old grandson. It popped right up and was easy to set up. It was the hit of our day. I got in the back and was pretend driven to the store, to get pizza, etc. Mommy crawled in front and his Aunt got in with me and we pretended to go other places. He loved it. He fell inside of it several time and because everything is soft and bendable, it's hard to get hurt or break the toy. We pretended to go over bumps and I told him to slow down. He didn't want to get out The steering wheel is flimsy but it wouldn't be able to fold down if they made it more rigid. It's a great way to get to introduce a child to using his imagination. It is large but because it can be folded down and put away, it is great for small places too.
Great buy, kids loved it and wanted to sleep in it. Easy to put up, good strong material. I would recommend this to others...
My grandson, 18 months, LOVES this and insists on "giving me a ride" in the back every time I visit. He gets in the cab and "drives," although he usually crawls through the tunnel hole into the back to visit me and back again to the steering wheel a few times. No one could put it back into the little round package it came in, but it folds flat and fits under the couch or behind the bookcase for storage but is easy to pop up (or flatten out again) instantly. Lots of fun for a toddler.
This tent was a big hit with my 2 year old friend who loves trucks. He played in it a long time, and refused to come out when we had to put it away. I can see him playing in it for a long time. It"s a great deal for the money, and good for using ones imagination. The tent is truly a pop-up tent. It started popping out the minute we took it out of the packaging. The problem is trying to take it down. There were no instructions for taking it down and you really need them.
It was a success when my great grandson (age 2 1/2 yrs) opened it. He likes it, but gets a little bored quickly as there is really nothing to do with it. Just know that this item is very big and will take up a lot of space. Too bad it doesn't have a floor inside the truck and a better steering wheel. He tries to drive it and walk around the house in it. It's hilarious!
I would recommend the truck tent. We gave it as a Christmas gift and our 18 month old son has really enjoyed it. It is relatively large, so make sure you have the appropriate space. You should be aware that it doesn't come with instructions. This doesn't seem like a big deal (setup is basically to open the box and pull each piece apart) but it did become frustrating upon trying to collapse the truck back down. I did finally figure it out - here's the secret - fold the piece flat, grab the opposite corners, and twist.
