Deluxe Big and Bright Kitchen

This was my first attempt at purchasing a children's toy "furniture" set, and I was not disappointed. My 3 year old and has a tendency to subject his toys to a significant amount of abuse, but we knew he'd love a kitchen of his own to make pancakes in. The various plastic kitchens I researched all seemed to be much smaller in "real life" and we wanted something that he could play with for a few years. The price was more than I had anticipated paying, but totally worth it. The construction is solid and the set provides ample storage space for other toys as well, a definate perk. It took about 3 hours to assemble the kitchen and was frustrating at times, but because of the construction detail, the kitchen is solid. All wood and bright colors. I would absolutely recommend this item to anyone who is looking for a quality piece of children's play kitchen. My son lvoes it, climbs on it, and makes mom pancakes on a weekly basis.

I bought this for my 3 year old for Christmas this year. It's a huge hit! He loves pretending he's cooking like mommy does. I wish it was available in the primary colors for this cheap price, but since it wasn't, we went ahead with the "girly" version. He doesn't care what color it is anyway. The only thing that I don't think was mentioned in the description of it is that the oven and dishwasher door open to the left and right, instead of dropping down like real ones do. I'm sure this is to prevent kids from standing on the doors and breaking them.
