    I ordered this step for use at home. It is not as sturdy a plastic as the ones you find in gyms, but was 1/2 the price and with only my use should last just fine. It comes with four risers so should meet the need for many years to come.

  • Good starter set

    Got this for my 60 year old dad for working out at home. It's nice and stable on carpet. Haven't tried it on a hard surface though. The deep ribbed top surface is great for avoiding slipping. I'm glad 4 risers come with the step because I had no idea what level my dad was. My only complaint is that it has a strong plastic smell. My dad leaves it in the garage when it's not in use. The smell has gone down a bit since he took it right out of the box 2 weeks prior. Hopefully it will go away completely so that he doesn't have to keep storing it in the garage.

    For the cost, these are a good value.The slip pads on the bottom are quite small and don't really work to hold bench in place on hardwoods so you will need pads beneath them.The plastic on top is hard, no rubber, so hands hurt if using them for lots of push ups or arm work.
