The kit is fairly complete with tools you need to clean most recreation and protection firearms. It does however lack instructions in how to use. So you'll need to either take a class or be an experienced firearms owner. It's definitely a good value for what is offered.

The brushes alone are worth the price, I was a little disappointed in the quality of the metal used for the rods, but like I said the brushes alone are worth the price.

I got this for my boyfriend and he loved it. He is very much into hunting and has a total of 5 to 6 guns. He found it very useful and even said it was better than the one that he had before.The only thing I did not like about it was before I gave it to him I notices that the wooden box that it came in was a little damaged and would not close completly. I liked this product and so did he. I would recommend it to everyone with guns to clean!!

The rods are made form cheap metal. Try and run the rod though a rifle barrel and the rod bent.. THe plastic parts that hold the swab broke off in the metal rod and it it no longer useable. Do not waste your hard earned money on this product.

I got this for my husband for Christmas, and he Loves it. He has it right by his chair and works on at least one gun, whenever he sits down. I am so glad I got him this one, it has parts, and rods for all his gun maintenance, and the wooden case makes it a nice item to have sitting out. It looks like the quality it is! Good work to this company, for a product that is super and at an excellent price!

While surfing the net for Christmas gifts, and in particular, Overstock.com, I literally stumbled upon the gun cleaning kit mentioned above. It looked impressive, was priced right,shipping was not exorbitant, and considering my husband is an avid hunter and a gun collector to boot, I thought this would be a gift that he would appreciate and use often. This proved to be true. He loves it, and says it is the most complete gun cleaning kit he has ever seen. He owns a variety of firearms and there was something there for all his guns. We were both pleased with the Gunmaster cleaning kit, there was satisfaction all around, and no disappointments in this transaction. We will shop with you again. Thanks!

Personally, i know nothing about guns and what it takes to clean them. However, I sent this item to my Dad for Christmas, and he was in heaven. I think he enjoyed this gift more than anything I've ever given him. In mysterious male Dad-speak, he said it was 'perfect'. Sorry I can't give better details, but for the price and the smile on Dad's face, I believe this to be a good product.

This is a good all around starter cleaning kit. The case is a little cheap, the cover is warped, but you have to expect that for the price. The rods and pieces are all pretty good quality, they seem durable, and that's what really matters to me. The kit does not come with oil or cleaner, so make sure you get some if you don't have any already.

Great gift for any gun owner with multiple guage/caliber guns. Can't attest to workmanship or durability since it was a gift.

This kit has everything you need to clean guns. This is our second kit like this, the first one lasted for years.
