After reading many comparison reviews of bicycle headlights, I narrowed it down to the Cygolite series. I had already purchased the rear cygolite light and it was excellent so I just had to figure out whether I wanted the Expilion 720 or 850. Because the price was only a few dollars more for the 720, I went for the 850. It has a long battery life, daytime light, removable and replaceable battery (the Expelion line are the only battery replaceable lights), and it is well constructed and easy to use.
