These hold the bikes firmly in place. My only complaint would be they are so lightweight, they slide around when trying to put tire in or take it out. Have to put a foot on it to keep it on the floor when taking the tire out, and a foot to keep it in one place to get the tire in. Like the fact that they can be used anywhere and moved around easily.

overall i like this bike rack. i have a very modern condo, so the metal and black and minamilasitic lines work quite well with my decor. very easy assembly and the like. now, here's the major problem. the height. who ever designed this left a MAJOR design flaw. there are not enough holes for the top to securely fit against my ceiling! i had to get real "ghetto" and actually tear off sections of the box it came in to create a "buffer" against my ceiling so it would be secure! other than that, it holds both my cannondales quite nicely. just something to think about before you purchase this item.

This is perfect for the garage. my grandsons can just sole their bikes in and don't have to fight with a wall hung rack. Bikes fit easily with no trouble. Wish I had seen it sooner.

The storage unit is easy to put together and is of good material. My only suggested would be for more screw holes so that it could be better attached to the wall.

This bike rack was easy to assemble and easy to use. The bikes ride very securely and don't bounce around. I am a woman and don't have any trouble using the bike rack. Folds up nicely for storage. Would recommend to anyone.

I searched long & hard for racks to hold my bikes in my bike room. It's hard to find something that isn't cheaply made and/or that looks terrible. I was looking for something made of real wood in a dark hue that could hold at least 2 bikes (TT, road, CX & MTB) and that looked classy. I was thrilled to pick up 2 of these OakRak bike racks in the darkest color version. The racks were straightforward to install & they look really great. I've received nothing but compliments since I installed them in my bike room. And the value for the $$ on Overstock is simply wonderful! It is very important to measure carefully and get the tension just right so that the rack holds firmly in place. I would recommend having 2 people assist with the installation, if it's at all possible. I've already recommended this particular item to several of my fellow cyclists. I am VERY pleased with this purchase.

I did a lot of research before buying this particular rack. I have had a conventional hitch rack for over 10 years and found the bikes got banged around during transit. The MIGHTY Rail Rack has done away with that problem completely. I ride with a group and lots of them are having bike rack envy at the moment! It may only hold 2 bikes, but that is perfect for a couple of very young empty-nesters. As for assembly, piece of cake...easy to follow directions...

6 screws, 4 o-rings, 1 Allen Wrench If you can't put this together in less than 10 minutes you probably can't ride a bike anyway. Only one thing easier: ease of use. I have a small basement apartment with stairs that lead up to the owner's apartment. As these stairs are never used, I placed the base legs of the stand on one of the wider bottom steps and leaned it against the wall. The top bar that leans against the wall has a soft rubber/plastic cushioning pad - so it makes no marks on the wall. Also with stand leaning out away from the wall and hooks straight out - my bike's handlebars never touch the wall. Unless you hang a motorcycle from the hooks - they're not going to slip down. Excellent design! Great value! You will not be disappointed.

It's great and easy to use, we use it with our Jeep and our motorhome everywhere we go. It's a good product at a good price.

Sets us easy and fast. Holds the bikes perfect. I have a mountain bike and my husband has a beach crusier and it holds them both with ease!

We have a family of six. We use the bike rack for our four children and their bikes. Works great.

I have two adult size bikes on the rack. It's easy to assemble and put in place. It keeps the bike tires from going flat and could be used as a workbench for the bike if needed.

The rack was very simple to assemble. My 12 year old son did most of the work, it went together in 15 minutes. The pricing was $20 less than I found on E-bay for the same model. The rack is somewhat lighter than I imagined, but I am not dissapointed.

We thought it was the perfect rack for what we needed. Holds 2 bikes and attaches on the bumper of Travel Trailer. The rack is not sturdy enough to hold 2 bikes. It bent and the clamps broke and our bicycles were totally damaged. It is like we took three $100 bills and flushed in down the toilet. By the time we returned from our tripm Overstock would not give us any refund because the purchase was over 30 days.

We bought this rack not only because we needed the space but to protect our bikes and to not detract from our newly redone living room. Most racks are metal or black and while that works for many, this oak rack looks fantastic. Happy for function and form :)

These are often placed outside businesses and could, in theory, hold "6" bicycles, though adult bikes it holds one on each end and one parallel. the bar is too low for a front tire, if you lock your wheel it can damage it if your bike is bumped over (happens often in community racks) and and isn't even convenient to use for the other people. Use a simple, inexpensive n-shaped rack, any brand. Do not buy this style unless you are using it for CHILDREN'S bicycles. Do a google search for WHEEL-BENDER rack. This is it. Do the customers a favor and avoid it. $100 for a simple long-lasting n-rack that holds at least 2 bikes. Put a couple in a line. People will love you.

The bike rack arrived very quickly, and seems to be a very good deal. I purchased this to put on my 32 foot 5th wheel travel trailer, instead of using the hitch mount. The installation was very easy, and there were no problems the first use - about 50 miles. HOWEVER, when the box was opened, there was a sticker on the platform that warned it was for a bike of no more than 30 pounds. This was not shown on the details on the website. Lucily, our bikes were approx 30 pounds. If it was not for that , I would have given the fifth star.

THIS PRODUCT IS EXCELLENT FOR MOST BIKES EXCEPT FOR THE "OLD FASHIONED LADIES/GIRLS BIKE" I'VE HAD A HARD TIME USING THIS PRODUCT WITH THE MEN & LADIES CRUISERS THAT WE HAVE. IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN MORE SPECIFIC ABOUT THE BIKE SUPPORT UNITS. I'M PRETTY HANDY BUT I DON'T THINK THERES AN EASY WAY TO HANG MY WIFES BIKE. IT DOES HELP OUT IN OUR STORAGE SHED BECAUSE OF THE CLOSE QUARTERS.....AND I BELIEVE THAT YOU COULD HANG BIKES ON BOTH SIDES OF THE UNIT IF YOU HAVE THE SPACE - THAT'S 4 BIKES(MEN'S WITH THE CROSSBAR). I WASN'T TOO HAPPY ABOUT IT AT FIRST.....BUT IT WILL DO.

I have a heavy beach bike that needed to store near the ceiling. Installation up high is a challenge as you would imagine, but it is sturday and there have been no problems.

Simple, useful, even a bit elegant. Leonardo would have liked it - had he really invented a bicycle to use with it. It's a bit avant-garde for Leo, though but not for you. I bought four two for my road bikes and two for my mountain bikes. If mounted properly, they are plenty strong.

Excellent Buy. This product I had just bought at a local bicycle shop. I spotted the same bike rack on Overstock. I promptly returned it for a full refund at the local store and ordered it from Overstock. I saved over $80 with shipping included. Now, I'm shopping for Christmas at Overstock first. Hope this helps.
