This is a terrific product for hunters to carry. I bought it as a gift. I scored a "1" in appearance because it came with no packaging. Pretty tacky giving a gift that has no packaging. The picture shows it encased in plastic packaging. This made me wonder if it was a returned item.

Not tested but appears to be typical. To expensive to just try and how do you try. This is a safety product that one does not use unless endangered. Product bought on studying reviews on internet. Hope made right decision and will never have to use.

Great product at at Great price. Fast shipping .. This is one of those products that you hope you don't have to use but feel secure that you have a device like this in case you need it. We live in The Great Smoky Mountains and the Bear activity has been above average this year.

The holster and spray canister came in a box without the retail packaging shown in the picture. The spray and holster both appear to be new and well made but the holster is for a larger version of this bear spray. It seems to hold this size canister OK, but it is very loose, unlike other repellants of this size that I have carried. I will be looking for a better way to carry the canister attached to my backpack, and if I were to do it over I would purchase the bear spray without the holster.

for folks visiting my home and hiking into the forest. I would prefer giving them this strong spray and not a gun to defend if they get into a bad situation.Did not arrive packaged.......was received in good condition but out of sealed packaging as pictured.

Price is unbeatable. Item is as described. But as another review stated, the item comes in a box without any packaging. I was expecting a plastic blister pack like the one picture. All you get is the canister and holster in a cardboard Overstock.com box. There is a yellow zip tie on the trigger with "Remove After Purchase" Printed on it, so I appears to be from the factory and not a return. Lack of packaging could be another reason price is so good. Looking forward to never having to use it.

Hope I never have to use this product. I purchased because I trail run in an area where black bears are frequently spotted. I still think I wouldn't have time to use this product if I rounded a corner and was confronted by a bear but at least it gives me some piece of mind. It is compact, light weight, and the carrying case should hold the can firmly when I run.

Holster is good. Seems like it would be easy to use; I just hope I don't have to.
