I just have to say that this air mattress is awesome. I use it on my cot for extra padding and it keeps me warm and comfy all night long. I've also used it on the ground and it quite comfortable as well.

To reveiw this product for what it was intended for , well....I can't do that. I bought this not to sleep on but, to sit on. I cut it right down the middle and use it for sitting on at my picnic bench while I'm camping. It work OK for this. I bungeed the ends around the bench. I had to be careful while getting my feet in & out to not pull & rip the pad. Overstock is great! I should have reshearched these however before I purchased it. I found them at **** for **** saving me more than half of what I payed for it.

I recently purchased this sleeping pad and have used it once. It inflated very quickly and I even used a tape measure to ensure that it was three inches think. This pad was very firm once inflated so I let just a little air out for additional comfort. It took about 2 minutes to fill and about 30 seconds to roll the air out of it afterwards and packed away in the storage bag with room to spare. Most of my camping is done on motorcycle trips so this may be just a bit bigger for my bike than I would like but it doesn't extend beyond the sides of my saddlebags and I prefer the extra comfort and rest that it affords which is important between two long days of riding. I've recommended to a few friends already.

Purchased with camper cots for two teenage houseguests. Not as comfortable as I would have liked for them, but if I were using these for camping, I would be 150% satisfied to be up off the ground. I like that they are easy to store and lightweight.

The pad was more than I expected. It was used 7 nights in a row on the RAGBRAI (ride across Iowa) and I slept very well. Ususally I am very uncomfortable sleeping on my side on the ground, but the 2 inch pad supported me without any shoulder pain.

This product is exactly how it's described on Overstock. The air pad inflates by itself and is great for hiking/camping, light and comfortable at the same time. It could have been a bit thicker but for this price it's a great product

This fits my 6'2", 195lb frame well. My feet don't fall off and I can actually roll over on it. I get to field test it this weekend.

The pad is very comfortable and is a good size. We're ordering another one.

I am 6' 4" and 260lb This pad works perfectly even for me. I was told to blow it it up a little after inflated but found that was not neccessary at all, it was firm enough just self inflated and very comfortable. This is by far the nicest self infalting sleeping pad I have ever seen, I have another brand pad and it's ok but no where near as nice this one. The 4 inch thickness is perfect and the 30" width is very nice if you move at all in your sleep. I am going to buy another one while I can for a backup just in case.

It's comfortable. The material on top feels good. I like that if it doesn't self inflate enough, I can blow air into it to inflate it more.

It's not something to carry if you have to hike very far--but for throwing down a pad close, it's awesome. 30" wide, versus most all other similar pads were way to narrow for a decent sleep (I'm 6'1" with broad shoulders). totally worth it. and, it does roll up small.

This was my first time actually using a pad camping/hiking and I really couldn't feel a difference with this pad. I usually sleep on the ground, and the pad didn't soften my pallet at all. I was in a cold environment (Mt. Rogers in Virginia) and I'm sure it did help with insulating me, however, I'm sure a softer alternative could be had. If you don't mind sleeping on the ground, this pad is a good buy--it's cheap and lightweight--but don't let it fool you into thinking it will help your back.

I am 6'2" tall, 235 lbs, 38-waist. I sleep great on this pad. Lying on my back, my arms did not fall off the sides. Will now sell my REI 3.5-inch thick pad on Craigslist.org... it is only 25-inches wide. So pleased with this pad!

I bought this because my son has one from another company and it's soo comfortable. His is only about 1 1/2 inches thick, but the foam is really dense and has much more support. I thought that this would be even better, it was supposed to be 3 inches thick. It was 2" at best and not very comfortable. The foam was spongey and gave little support. It was a disappointment.

This pad was not quite as thick as I was anticipating. Overall, a good buy for the money.

Just got back from using this pad for the first time. I slept on the floor of a cave with my son's scout pack. Was very comfortable even sleeping on solid rock! Just what I was looking for.

Camped outside Valley Forge, PA in November, got down to 33 F and the pad kept me warm and comfortable. Quick and easy to inflate and deflate. A must have for sleeping out.

These are probably too big for backpacking, we drove up to camp sites. They are about 4 inches thick, so you don't feel anything under them. The self-inflating thing is cool; these thick mattresses take 15-30 minutes to fully inflate. We squeezed some air out of my wife's to make hers softer. Packing up is easy: Open valves Fold from end opposite valves Close valves Unfold Roll up from end opposite valves Open valves when you get close enough to squeeze out more air

I bought this air pad to go with a cot from the same manufacturer. I used the pad four nights so far - two nights at the Adirondacks and two at the St. Lawrence (both in NY state) - and it has worked out very well. It infaltes fast and completely unlike the ThermaRest pads I have used before. The extra thickness at the head is also nice. I have not used it extensively yet but it seems to be very well made with durable materials. It does not slide out of place on the cot and my sleeping bag stayed put all through the night too. I do not have any negative comments about this pad - some might consider it to be large and heavy, but one does not buy this type of pad for its compactness or lightness. One buys this pad for comfort and in my opinion it is comfortable. I plan to take this pad and the cot on a month long trip to Yellowstone. Perhaps an update to this review will be necessary after that.
