This machine's vibration seems to be just as strong as any of the more expensive brands. However, because it lacks an arm rest, it does not target the upper body as much. You would have to shift and re balance your weight to feel the vibration in the upper half of the body. Although compact in size, it is a bit heavy and bulky. Aside from that, I would buy again.

Rec'd the item within a few days. Was shipped directly from distributor here in CA. Easy to assemble even from the tiny pics in the manual except for 2 long screws (not so obvious). Contacted customer service at 800 number. They said it was a new model. They looked up the info. Called me back the next day and even sent me a huge pic of where the 2 long screws should go. Sun Penn Town is on fire as far as their customer service. I studied controlled whole body vibration therapy (CWBVT) before purchasing this item. The ideal device should pivot around 30 Hz (under load) as a kind of occupational therapy for seniors to help with strength and balance to prevent falls. My mother is a bit elderly and obese. She recently had a hospital stay for malignant otitis externa which weakened her strength and balance. I also wanted to get something in my price range. Of course, the ideal device is $1000's above and beyond my price range, so I found Sun Penn Town and the best deals at OverStock. This particular CWBVT device does the job. Although it doesn't pivot, the "elliptical motion" feels like going down a ski slope or riding a motor cycle. It feels like shifting gears going down the road on a motor cycle of sorts when it's in automatic mode. My mother says it gives her energy and vigor. After an hour on the treadmill, she gets on this device for 10 minutes as she changes her posture every minute. (The muscles are reacting to the vibration, so you have to treat it like an isometric exercise - you can't just stand there as some people believe.) 10 minutes later her aches and stiffness are gone and she has more energy to walk. Her recovery time is much faster and her fall risk has decreased dramatically. Oh yes, her weight is going down too - and she tells me that her bowel movements are regular now (yeah, I know, too much information.) Therefore, this device is totally worth it as long as you work it correctly. The noise is less than half that of a treadmill, but it does shake the house a bit depending on the frequency of the device and the way you hold it. Good luck, Healing Thoughts.

I love the blue & white pattern of color on the ball. It makes me want to use it because it's fun! I used an electric pump to inflate and I have found it a little mushy but I will just inflate it again. Overall, I like that it has a 600lb weight limit and does not burst easily since my 98 lb dog wants to play with it. There was no noticable odor when I unpacked the ball. I think this is a great value for the price.

As advertised, this exercise ball is a great size for long legs and has a good bounce without concern of weight. Using it daily.

For the price, it does what it needs to but the quality is not that great. The middle is hollow with a piece of plastic over the hole (the blue logo). If you step directly on the logo, it will depress and you won't be able to get it out. For reference, I'm about 165lbs so it's not like I was putting excessive weight on the thing. This definitely is an "economy" model, so if you just need a cheap board, it will be fine.

I saw this machine on another site for a lot more money but I was intrigued by its compact size. This machine is a lot more powerful then you might expect. I am very heavy and I have leg circulation issues so I wasn't sure this machine would handle me. It actually gives my legs a GREAT workout and I can feel an improvement even only one week later. I did not buy this machine for weight loss, just strictly for help with my legs and I am very happy with it.

this does the job I was purchasing for but.. its a bit wobble and the base isn't very heavy so when I use it the base will lift a bit. I don't weight that much so it isn't terrible but for a full sized man this would probably be a real issue.

This is an amazing chair. I have a bad back and MS, so it hard to sit for very long in a chair. This is just the right height for me, I am short. You can inflate or deflate the ball according to the firmness you want. I find this a good fit for me. It supports me back, while working on my balance. It is light weight and easy to move.

Having the appropriate weight training equipment and accessories, like weight-lifting gloves, is essential to avoid injuries when you're doing muscle training. Weight-lifting gloves help weight lifters minimize the possibility of injury by providing a better grip on the weight so that it doesn't slip free. Wearing a good weight-lifting glove will also help prevent blisters and the tearing of calluses. If you've been strength training without quality lifting gloves, you may be surprised at how much difference they can make. Read More
