  As said with other reviews; these are small dolls but they are made with simple details and appear to be constructed pretty well. They are a bit pricey for the size and quality. The quality of the material is o.k. shiny polyester for the clothing but the various details are done nicely. Plastic beads for the mermaid necklace and crown and about what you'd expect from a typical product made in China. Of course the price would be triple if made from better quality material and produced in the U.S. Guess we get what we're willing to pay for.

  The little mermaid doll was precious. but it was not sturdy enough for a 2 year old. Music w3was a little tinny sounding but all in all it ws a cute doll.

  I got this for a co-worker who reads the book every year, has lots of figurines and other collectibles, and dressed in an awesome Frankenstein costume 2 Halloweens ago. The proportions seems a little odd to me, as you can see in the product picture, not true to the classic Frankenstein shape in my opinion. But my co-worker loved it, and the birthday party was a success.
