Mil Quality PFD
Having been in Navy air sea rescue, I was looking for a PFD that I could equip similiar to our flight equipment. This vest has the necessary storage pockets for flares and attachment points for mirror / compass and "D" rings for helo rescue hoist attachment. Yes it's a first class product, purchasing this vest is an investment in preserving your life, Go For It.

perfect for sailing
In the world of inflatable life jackets for sailing, there are a variety of choices. This jacket is one of the better ones. Unless you are only on a lake, you need a jacket that can act as a USCG type 2 jacket when inflated at the very least. Being on the east coast in kill-you-dead cold water, this jacket is exactly what I was looking for. Plus, the added benefit of the stainless D-rings for attachment to a safety line is an excellent option.
