The Marine Performance Cooler is part of the cooler revolution that Coleman started back in 1954. Coolers, or inchespicnic chests inches were made of thermally inefficient steel that would sweat and rust. Three years later a Coleman engineer saw a child blowing soap bubbles and realized a similar process could be used to make coolers. By forming a inchesbubble inches from heated sheet plastic and molding it into the necessary shape, coolers could be lighter, more efficient, and easier to clean. This groundbreaking process revolutionized the industry and is basically the same process still used today. This Marine Performance cooler features an insulated case for all day ice retention. The handles makes it comfortable to carry, and the lid has cord attachment points to aid in carrying.
