Liked the first one so much that we ordered a second. They are lightweight for travel purposes yet sturdy enough to hold large adults securely.
The Coleman Chair with Table is real nice lite weight but holds up great.
I have friends who have chairs like these and I liked them. I was looking for some like them and found the best price here @ overstock.com. They arrived quickly and in good condition. These chairs are comfortable, easy to get in and out of and fold up nicely. Would recommend
Finally a folding camping chair that is not the scissor type that seems to be the only kind the stores want to carry. Unlike the scissor chairs, this one has the seat evenly suspended like a director's chair .The handles are comfortable and padded. You can easily slouch since the backrest has an upper angle taper to it. The frame is stout enough to hold my 260lb 6'3" frame. You can leave side table unfolded when using chair. I am not sure how the chair will soak up water if left out in rain, so i plan to treat it with spray water repellent. PROS:No thigh pressure points like scissor chairs, strong frame, folds up small enough for packing, practical side table stong enough to hold just about anything, padded enough for comfort without handicapping storage size. CONS:Not much choice of color, I would have preferred green.
I purchased two of these for my brother and his wife who camp most summer weekends as Christmas presents. They are attractive, well-made, and arrived promptly.
We bought 2 new camping chairs to take in our 5th. wheel. These chairs are easy to set up and fold down. The fabric is very durable and the arm table is ideal. It provides a very solid surface for eating a picnic meal. Wish I had found these sooner!
I was really sick of those butterfly-type chairs. They fold up small but are uncomfortable for more than a few minutes of sitting. This Coleman chair is padded, comfortable, supportive and large! Since it folds in a different way, it affords a very comfortable seat. Seems to be sturdy, although I have only owned it for about a month, so time will tell. Extra added bonus is the nice little side table, for your beverages, food, cell phone, whatever.
The chair is great. The table and chair are very sturdy, but it is hard to open and close. We would definitely recomend this chair and I am certain it will get easier to open and close with use.
I've used this chair every day since I received it, the table is an excellent addition to the chair, the Craftsman ship is very good, my only comment that might be construed negative is that the back of the chair is pretty low, it hits me about 6 inches too low. I sit in the chair at football practice for my son every night of the week for a minimum of an hour and a half so it was important that it be durable, so far so good. I haven't heard any creaking noises and the arms are sturdy enough that you can use them when standing up. It would also be nice if it had a mesh back to it so that you didn't sweat while seated, but that will come in time I'm sure.
