went camping set up screen tent over table a little wind came and the pole holding up one of the coners bent then broke very poor workmanship for the money would not recommend this item just a waste of money now looking for better made product
- Please tell us about the quality of the product. poorly made poles bent after three uses
- Was the product free of any manufacturer defects? two poles were a little bent
Disappointed with this product. The screen house relies heavily on the guidelines for stability and doesn't seem very solid. Water pools on the top. I would not recomment this tent. It takes at least two people to erect it. Shop around ..there are tents that are easier to erect and more stable. Returning this screen room.
the screen tent went up fast and easy, we really didn't have any adverse weather but the tent seemed to be sturdy and well made. did not have any problems or complaints.
A little disappointed with this product. The screen house relies heavily on the guy lines for stability and doesn't seem very solid. Not a big fan of the entire side of the screen house being the door either. Also in rain water pools on the top (not enough clips in the top center). We were camping next to a family who had the same shelter and they had the same problem. Overall the screen house is OK but if I were going to buy another one I would probably try a design with 6 support poles instead of 4 to increase the stability.
I use this to do my lessons outside for my preschool. I purchased a cheaper model and the first wind that came along destroyed it. We have had tornado winds and this tent is still standing. It is large enough for tables and chairs, chalkboard, toys, rug, etc. I am very happy with it and the price is great!
Instructions that came with screenhouse did not emphasize importance of lining up poles exactly as shown in picture. After essemblin it we realized two poles were not attached to hub correctly and had to take it down and start again. Second try was successful. However that night we had heavy rain and wind and in the morning the screenhouse was collapsed and hub broken. Called Coleman and was told "screenhouse not wind and rain proof" Had to order new hub ($2.50 plus $6. shipping so ordered two as it might break again.) Screenhouse is meant to be used one day and then taken down. It is not sturdy enough to be up all summer in one place. Also found the zipper doors inconvenient. Don't buy this one!
My family of 4 loved camping in this tent over the Easter Holiday. It held up quite nicely. Very reliable. We had a blast and almost froze to death..so cold!!
This is exactly what we wanted. Our friends have the exact same one and we bumped them up together to make one huge food tent.
Great value for the price. Withstood two separate stormy days with wind gusts as high as 30. With two people installation isn't bad.
We trusted the coleman name. We looked around at on line reviews....and even with the complaints bought it anyway...........not sure if they changed something or not but we did not have any issues what so ever with this screen house. The poles are stout, the fabric is strong - it with stood a near hurricane storm the first day we put it up. Two people litterally less than 20 minutes - it is roomy and well put together I have absolutely ZERO complaints.....Glad we bought it.....We did buy the 2yr warranty based on other review but I seriously doubt we will ever use it. THANKS OVERSTOCK>COM again for another great value !!
