these raidos were a real good investment for me and my son. we traveled to paris france on seperate flights , both arriving about 1 hour apart. we were to meet at the baggage claim area and when i arrived he was nowhere to be found. I turned on my radio and he answered right away , so we were able to meet up right away. the airport at paris is huge with many terminals.

These radios are my son's newest tech toy. Either in the back yard or for the family to use when we visit the park it keeps us in touch easily. Good reception. Good battery life. Lots of features for the price.

I ordered these for a trip my family was going on. I like to have radios for when we split up, as cell phones are unreliable in Mexico. I'm very happy with the set. I like the 'ring' feature. You can call each other with a ring (like a phone). Range was great. I would recommend

After looking at various devices like the one I purchased, I can truly say that the two-way radio that I got from Overstock was by far the best value. It works as advertised and serves my purpose admirably. Can't say enough good things about the product I bought.

Our family has used these on long bike rides. We live in a small town and have had good reception within a few miles. My 8 and 10 year old LOVE them. They used them to talk back and forth between our cars on a recent trip to the beach. They work well on the VOX mode and we have had no problem with feedback or interference from other users. We use them at the beach for a line of communication back to the house. They work great for calling the house and asking for delivery of snacks or other forgotten items.

This worked out great. Christmas gift for my husband (and the two boys). My 1st time using overstock.com and will definitely use again. Radios came well packaged, and work and look great. We are even thinking of ordering 2 more so that everyone can have one. Thanks for a great 1st time experience.

I bought this product for myself and I love them. You can't quite get 5 miles out of them but you can easily get 1 or 2 miles. This is a great product at a great price. Great job Overstock!

I bought these for my grandson and he loves them! They are very easy to operate and you can hear clearly over them. They are durable and kid-friendly but good enough for an adult to use. Good product for the low price!

We got the walkie talkies so we could communicate from one side of the building site to the other. Works great for this. Also useful when backpacking when one group gets away from the other. The don't seem to work the stated 5 miles, but within one or two they seem to be okay. These work where cell phones won't.
Turn them off to avoid running the battery down, and turn on at designated times. "Synchronize watches." Easy to figure out how to use. Good price. No evidence of being used item.

I got these for father's day for my husband. He likes to hunt, fish and camp. Every year there are stories of lost hunters and campers.So I thoutt the walkie talkie's would help. Perhaps they will but to my surprize I benefitted from them first! On a recent fishing trip I was surprized when he handed me one of the set. We only have a small boat so while waiting at shore for the guys to lanch the boat Larry and I talked. It was great fun. I felt lide a kid again. I also felt a little safer while I waited for my turn in the boat.

we purchased multiple sets for our business - we run a motel - they work perfectly. If someone is working on the pool or out on the grounds we can get a message to them without searching - price was great for the product.

The walkie talkies do what they're supposed to do, but they pick up an incredible amount of foreign traffic. I got them so that I could communicate with my 3 year old and not have to get out of bed, so we would leave them on all night. The batteries are excellent, they go into sleep mode, so we did not have to replace frequently. However, we would get conversations from outside sources every night, so we had to stop using them.
I would recommend these radios if you are traditionally using them, but if you need something quiet for at night, they are not the way to go.
