I purchased this for my boyfriend who loves to show off his guns. He likes it a lot! And we haven't had any problems so far. I will say that assembly is required so have a power drill handy. Check every single piece before you start putting it together. I Didn't check the last piece until it the last step and it was cracked in a couple spots. Pretty sure that was FedEx's fault though. It is very top heavy so make sure you do use the anchor for the wall that's included. If you put your ammo in the bottom part though, that'll help loads!Read More
Great product. Very pleased but assembly is required!Read More
This is a good quality gun cabinet and good value for the money, however, I had several problems with damaged parts. When the cabinet arrived the glass door and both backboards were damaged. This was definitely not done by the FedEx delivery man, it had to have happened at the manufacturers. Overstock were very good at sending me replacement parts. I have to say that their customer service department is excellent! The only other problem with the cabinet is that I found it difficult to attach the glass door - it definitely requires 2 people to install. I would recommend to a friend but point out all the problems that come with it.Read More
After reading so many reviews regarding the unsafe delivery of the gun cabinet,i was amazed at the superb delivery done by the FEDEX delivery man, there was not a single scratch or dent or any thing broken, piece by piece I took them out and started assembling, but in the final stage needed the help of my son to complete the assemling. Now its fabulous custom made looikng matching to my custom guns.Read More
Cabinet was delivered quickly and without damage. Relatively easy to assemble. Needed an extra set of hands putting the glass door on. Other than that a smooth assembly. Took about a half hour from start to finish.Read More
The cabinet was as described in the O.com ad. It is a nice looking cabinet for the price. One pleasant surprise was that the door glass has beveled edges which enhances the look.Read More
looked a little rough upon opening the package but decided we may be able to touch up a few of the wood scrateches. After 4 hours, and the last pieces, the glass doors, the door was warped and the glass was about to fall out of the frame. It wouldn't match up onto the pre-installed hinges. Very disappointed and had to pack it all back up, haul it to town, and return it. This has not been my previous experience with Overstock. The wood itself looked nice but the back pieces were more like wood-looking cardboard and they didn't match up to fit the back once you tried to put in the screws. The corners were bent and were about to tear off of this backing. Again, we thought well as long as we can't see it in the front but we could. The sealing they used in the glass doors had not stuck and the glass was ready to fall out. They hadn't pre-drilled the back to install the backboard and it when trying to screw on the backboard, it didn't hit the wood and popped thru the front. This is a unit you should purchase completely assembled not in pieces.Read More

For large projects, such as framing a house or an addition or installation of fencing, an air gun cuts the time dramatically and increases consistency and stability. These powerful tools can be powered by compressed air, gas or electricity.
FAQs about Gun Storage Safety

How to Operate a Rivet Gun
Rivet guns are used to attach two pieces of metal together. A rivet gun is one of the most versatile pieces of shop equipment you can own. Rivet guns can be used to attach gutters to your roof line or side a garden shed with corrugated metal among many other uses. The easiest style of rivet gun to use is the "pop" or "snap" rivet gun. Rivets come in different diameters and lengths, just like screws and nails. Like all air guns, power in a rivet gun is generated by air pressure.
How to Select a Nail Gun
Whether you are adding new shingles to a roof or putting together wood furniture, you may find that a simple hammer takes far longer than necessary to finish a job. If you want to insert a large number of nails quickly, you can instead use an air gun that inserts nails, which is also known as a power nailer. Nail guns come in a variety of shapes and sizes, and each is intended for a different type of project. Before selecting a new nail gun, carefully consider the features and compare them to the type of job you are performing with the tools in your workshop.

Tips on the Positioning of Kitchen Cabinets
With the wide array of modern kitchen cabinet designs, homeowners can easily choose models that complement and enhance their lifestyles. Picking out the style and color of your kitchen cabinets is easy. But it can be a little more difficult to decide the best way to arrange your cabinets. When positioning kitchen cabinets, it's best to balance functional workspace while keeping an eye on design. In addition to traditional kitchen cabinets, specialty items, such as wine racks, foldout pantry cabinets and slide-out drawers, allow homeowners to combine good looks with functionality. Here are a few home improvement tips to consider when laying out your kitchen design and cabinet positions.
Best Materials for Cabinets
After deciding on the purpose and room for your new cabinet, it's time to think about material. As with all furniture, you will want to select a cabinet material depending on what you plan to use your cabinet for, as well as your personal taste. Take a look below to learn about the best materials for cabinets. Wood: The majority of cabinets produced are created with hard wood. Wood cabinets can be found in both traditional and contemporary designs. If you are hoping for durability in addition to design, no cabinet looks better and lasts longer than one manufactured using a solid wood. Cherry cabinets offer a sense of classic luxury while holding up to years of use. Oak cabinets conjure up the feel of subtle country beauty, and maple cabinets can look bright, modern and chic. Metal: Metal cabinets are terrific for those looking for a modern touch in their homes; most metal cabinets have a very forward-looking aesthetic, so they are perfect for a contemporary home. Metal cabinets are also great for home offices. Obviously, metal offers great durability, but it is vulnerable to dings and dents. Keep in mind that most metal cabinets have sharp corners, making them slightly less suitable for homes with kids running around. Glass: If you have something you feel like showing off, nothing is better for display purposes than a glass cabinet. These cabinets are certainly more fragile than those made from other materials, but they offer something other cabinets can't: transparency. Many glass cabinets are manufactured with built-in lighting systems to exhibit whatever you choose to place in them. Because of their show-off quality, glass cabinets are perfect for places you expect guests, such as the dining room and living room. Particle board: If you are shopping for a cabinet on a tight budget, looking into particle board cabinets is worthwhile. Particle board is a relatively new material produced by pressing wood particles together, which is then bound with synthetic resin. Furniture created with particle board is almost always the least expensive option and also the lightest, but you will sacrifice some durability. If you plan to move often, a particle board cabinet could be an ideal option. View All Furniture Back to Guides Directory View All Furniture
