I have been using this product for a few months now and the worst part about it is the chrome, it flakes off. I don't really care how they look, but it is annoying that it gets all over my carpet. The grips are a bit uncomfortable, so definitely get some gloves. Also the early comment about the case is correct it is real flimsy. Those are the only problems I found which I guess is still a lot for a product whose only real purpose is to be heavy.

The weights are great and easy to use, but the carrying case is a little flimsy for the job. Don't count on storing them in it for a long time.

these were a present for my husband and he loves them it was hard to find a set that were totally metal most had plastic somewhere but these were great thanks overstock

It seems I am the only one with a bad product. The caps or nuts did not fit properly on the dumbbell bar, so there was no way to secure the weights! Figures I would get the bad one.. I assume the return shipping will be free, since it is defective,,, sure hope so.

While the original shipment had only two of the necessary nuts to lock the weights on the handle, Overstock responded immediately to correct the problem and within a couple of days, the nuts were received. Excellent customer service!! The set itself is everything expected, attractive and easily usable.

The set of dumb bells comes in a plastic box for transporting. It is primarily for shipping for ours was busted. The box is of excellent design so the weights were not damaged. The locks are easy to screw on and off. You can vary the weights per dumbell.

Great product- well priced. Welcome addition to my home gym. Highly recommended for any evel of fitness ( I am in "Boot Camp" and it works VERY well for my intense workouts at home)

The product arrived relatively quick, with a short notice order it still arrived for Christmas...thanks OS. The packaging was subpar, for an item weighing in over 30 pounds surrounded by plastic, it should have been protected better. The carrying case was cheap...lightweight/thin plastic which was broken in several places on arrival which made the case useless. The contents (weight set) were in very good shape and although the case was no good, the weights are quite useable and user friendly. Recommend: order for the weights, not the "handy" (but utterly useless) carrying case.

I bought this set (not knowing much about weights) for my son. It came in a plain white box and I thought uh-oh. But when my son opened it we were impressed. It came beautifully packaged in a grey plastic carrying case, with each weight having it's own groove. The weights themselves are shiny chrome and assemble easily with Chrome Star Nuts. We haven't had it long enough to vouch for the durability of the chrome itself, but I think that will depend on the individual and how well or how poorly they treat their set. Two thumbs up!

The set itself is as expected, however the carrying case is extremely thin plastic and cracked the first time it was opened.

I got this for my fiance for his birthday. We had been looking for dumbells to have in our house so we wouldn't have to go to the gym and they all seemed so expensive becasue we'd have to get so many different weights since we lift differently. This set has enough of a variety that we can both get good use out of it. He is happy to have some finally!
