Pooch Guard Interior Car Barrier

This is perfect for keeping two large dogs in the back of the SUV. It is easy to install and keeps the dogs safely where they need to be. The value of this product is worth the money.

I have a 120 lb Alaskan Malamute and a recently acquired 85 lb Pitbull. The Pitbull wants to be in your lap at all times and this is a problem when driving!!! I asked a friend, who also drives a Trailblazer and has a dog barrier for his 110 lb Lab, what kind of barrier he bought. He told me "oh they're all the same, you'll spend about $60 or $70 and then you'll have to do some creative installation, becuase it won't fit right and it will rattle". I bought this item for about half what he paid and when he installed it he was amazed at the high quality. He was very envious that i got such a deal!! It went together easy and when we put it in it needed very little adjustment and was secure with no rattling after a few screw turns. I love it!!! It keeps the hounds where they belong, and has not slipped or rattled. I highly recommend this item.

Overall, I am disappointed in this purchase. This contraption was certainly easy to install, however, the legs on it are just too flimsy and there needs to be another (a third) bar barrier to secure the pet in the rear of the car. Very strange that this is even sold in its current state.

This product is a great value, does not block my line of sight while driving, and keeps my dog in the back seat. I have a 2007 Altima and the ceiling is so high that this doesn't hold very securely while fully extended. It is somewhat flimsy when not securely anchored. There is also a gap at the footrests that my dog sometimes squeezes through. I have found ways to put things in the back seat to block him, and for the price this gate does the job.

The barrier is good quality and was pretty easy to assemble. For the price, it was a great buy. Most others I looked at were much more expensive. My dog isn't quite as happy, though!
