Went camping and this worked great. It only rained for 3 hours, but the canopy worked great

The tent was of great value and comfort for camping with family of four.
Easy to assemble just some disappointment with attached canopy. It didn't stretch open as it should.
The tent is easy to carry and store. A good investment for me.

This tent is very roomy. We used it for womens weekend camping and fit two queen airbeds and two twin airbeds. Easy to assemble as well as disassemble. One drawback; while sliding the pole through the sleeves during assembly one sleeve ripped a little. Other than that, no complaints. It even fit back into the storage bag.
The price was average.

you routinely have three hours and two people to set up camp. I set this tent up in my living room - it barely fit! This tent has a huge footprint, so you need a large campsite! That's what makes it sooo cumbersome to set up - it's size. The fiberglass poles have 11 sections and are 22 feet long!! I hate tents where the sleeves snag the pole joints - and this one does it routinely. And with 76 feet of poles to thread, it's a pain.
The front canopy looks very nice and seems like a great idea for rain protection. But notice it's all one piece with the overhead rainfly... That means that on an already huge tent, the rainfly is enormous. Getting it unfolded and over the tent was fun, and trying to fold it back up was a laugh. I'd hate to try it in the rain or wind. So big it may take a week to waterproof the seams. I wasn't too fond of the doors. Inside was very nice - large and easy to stand in. Be ready to pound! Between the tent and the canopy it requires at least 2 dozen stakes.
Anyway, I'm glad I put it up in my living room first. Believe it or not, I got it back into it's original package, although not without some herculean effort.
I like the idea, and I think I would like camping in this tent - if it were someone else's tent and I didn't have to set it up and break it down. I'm sending it back. If you buy it, give me a call and I'll come camping with you. I'll meet ya with a 12 pack right after you finish setting up!
