Have not really used yet because of the weather. The actual tent is great but I always thoutht a rainfly should have been included with the tent... When I saw the rainfly as I jumped on it. we will see more this summer.

I haven't really used this tent yet, but did pitch it up in the yard to take a look. Yes, there are better tents out there, but for this price it's not too bad. Goes up rather easily - one person could do this. The two slide through poles have many, many joints and the extra thick diameter seems like a better way to go. I would like to see a) tabs for ground stakes on all four sides, not just two b) a bit more overhead mess area at the top, although the gear storage area is nice(it's not going to hold up to too much loading) c) sealed seams (that can be done yourself for about $8 purchase of seam sealer). The over tent fly does drape onto the tent sides, so you will need to stake and rope the fly down to give you the added protection in foul weather. The corners and stake tabs are re-inforced which is a better way. Overall, I'm happy with this purchase for under $150. You'll get more tent for $200, but for me doing car camping now and then this should be fine.

The item description clearly states that the canopy is 10 x 10. This is a false description as the actual canopy is 8 x 8. The poles are 10 x 10. Did not get what I expected.

We purchased the Promontory XD after quite a bit of research. I look for quality, a good warranty (this tent has a lifetime warranty) and if possible, great customer service. PahaQue measures up in all cases. When researching, I checked out several sites, read e-pinions, talked to people (boy scout trainers at a camping training I attended note: this is definitely a family camping tent, not a tent for backpacking with the scouts) and then called manufacturers to ask them to compare their product to this one. When I called Paha Que I was very pleased with their customer service down-to-earth, completely comfortable with my comparative questions about quality and very helpful with what product would best suit our family. They were able to give me specifics about the qualities and features of their tents so that I could make comparisons with other well-known companies and know that I was purchasing the better quality tent. My non-camping-oriented sister and I put the tent up together in less than 15 minutes (probably closer to 10 minutes) including the rain fly and staking it out. I suspect it would take even less time now. Paha Que recommends two people to put it up, and I would agree. Everything about the tent is well thought out and makes sense, but the size of the tent, and therefore the poles, is unwieldy with one only person putting it up. I watched the video of putting the tent up on PahaQues home website. It really is that easy. As far as the parts to the tent there are very few. They have kept this very simple! There are two long poles that go across the top and four side poles that hook the top poles into the grommet on the base of the tent. Other than two more poles to hold up the optional rain fly-canopy, that is it! The poles are lightweight aluminum and corded. There is no figuring out what goes where or with what part of the reason it takes so little time to erect. Bonus, the tent actually fits back into the bag with out folding gymnastics to try to make it fit. It did rain while we were camping, albeit a gentle rain. No moisture inside. We liked the HUGE window-doors for ventilation. There are three doors so that if you install the room separator the occupants have their own doors. We kept it as one room, however, and were able to fit two queen-size air mattresses inside and a dog bed (we thought it would keep her in one spot and her toe nails out of the floor). We could probably fit another single air mattress inside. As far as gear, we travel with one duffel for each of the 5 family members and then a couple of others for extra stuff. I used the back of the mini-van as a duffel closet but there is some room for duffels in the tent I just did not want the clutter in the tent. Without the air mattresses there is loads of room for gear. All in all, we are very satisfied.

I would recommend this tent even if only two people were going out into the boonies, but it is good for eight, and I, my wife, along with two other couples went out for a time of relaxation. We were out for 6 days and not once did we have to go back over the tent to make sure everything was attached correctly, but we did check once a day just for safety reasons. When the bad weather came rolling in, we thought that we would have to go out in the weather to fix the tent, but that didn't happen. I bought my tent on a sale, and as I can see on this price, we had a very, very good sale of $$$, that was about two years ago, and I have used my tent a total of 4 times, and if you take good care of your home away from home, I should have many more years of fun out in the sun, and rain. Now, even at the price I see that the tent is being sold for at this price that is noted, it would still be well worth the buy. Thanks Coleman for a great Tent.

As a dialysis patient, I decided to make the switch to nocturnal dialysis, which requires sleeping in a 'not so soft' recliner for 8+ hours. My wife found this while searching for a pad to make the chair time more comfortable for me. This was perfect! The 22" width fits the chair perfectly, while the 6 ft. length covers it from top to bottom. Not too heavy, so it's easy to carry. One side is 'smooth' & one side is 'egg crate' (I prefer the smooth side). The first night I used it, two other patients asked for ordering information! Ordered this on a Friday & had it by the next Wednesday!

This is a great hammock! I wasn't sure how durable it would be for my 6ft 8" 220lb boyfriend given that the price was low. But he was a happy man when he came home one day and saw it hanging from our balcony. He's always in it reading and our two cats love to jump in with him to take a "cat nap". We look forward to taking it with us when we go on our camping trips this year. :0)

Easy to set up, well made. Pump (included) worked well. Held up to two 8 year old boys jumping and playing on it when they should have been sleeping! Smaller than a true queen but overall satisfied.

I was so excited to get this new tent to take my Son and his friend (both 12) camping. It rained the day we arrived... It rained a lot. The tent leaked around all the windows and doors - from the zippers. The tent itself did not leak, just the zippers... but they are on all sides of the tent - thankfully we had plenty of towels to absorb the water. The other issue I found frustrating was the main door zipper. When you zipped it to a certian point - it was very difficult to get it zipped or unzipped - like the tent was stretched too far at this point and you had to use two hands to pull the tent together to zip or unzip it. Once you passed that point, it was fine. The size of the tent was great, and after our wet day - we enjoyed it very much (except for the main door zipper issue). I wanted to return the tent upon getting home, however the best they can do is have me ship this one back and send me the exact same product - new. I am just going to guess that it will leak around the zippers too... Not super satisfied...

Didn't last 3 nights. Woke up on the floor the third night. Uncomfortable, divet-like recesses are difficult to get used to. The "Heavy Duty PVC" material thickness doesn't seem any thicker than any other air matress I've come across. It's 8 inches thick, not 5". Very disappointed in a Coleman product. Make it sturdy, strong and durable or don't sell it. It was replaced with a unit from a very big box store that has blue letters in its name (that's been trouble free and comfortable for over a week).

I purchased this tent for my son's 9th birthday after reading reviews on several tents and knowing my price limit. Overall it was easy to put up, especially since I have never put up a tent before. The tent was roomy enough for my son and his 8 friends to play in on & off all evening. It appeared to be roomy enough for 3 people, 3 sleeping bags, and 3 luggage bags if using overnight which we did not. My major complaint is that the zipper for the door was extremely difficult to zip and unzip. It required 2 hands to do, one holding the zipper and the other pinching the tent. After several zips/unzips by the kids the stitches at the top of the door pulled a bit. My minor complaints are that it leaked water during a hard rain storm and it was difficult to fit back into its storage bag. Overall, this tent served its purpose: the kids had a great time with it. I would recommend to anyone who is a "casual" camper.

I am so glad I chose this bed. It was easy to set up and very comfortable and strong (I am no light weight). Most importantly for me, because I am a senior citizen, it was easy to stand up from when I was getting out of bed. I slept comfortably on it for 8 nights with no problem.

I just purchased this tent as I already have a larger coleman and wanted something that was easier to assemble, but still has good height. This tent is a quick set up. Takes about 5 minutes the first time but should be easier after learning how to operate it. As soon as it arrived I took it out and wanted a dry run before going camping over memorial day weekend. The product is described as 8 feet high x 7 feet long x 4.92 feet deep. IT IS NOT. The tent dimensions are incorrectly inverted. The tent is 8ft deep and 4.92 feet high. For anyone under 5 feet high you will be able to stand up but as this was the reason I purchased this specific instant tent (for the height) I am very unhappy. Even the pictures show that the woman standing next to it should easily fit inside without hunching over. If you want the height this is not the tent for you. Overall though the tent seems good quality but only time will tell.

My guests slept on this air mattress for six nights and they stated that the bed was very comfortable, It lost a little air over the time, but not enough that additional inflation was absolutely necessary. Did not quite understand why It was described as extra long as it uses standard queen size sheets. Did not measure it, but it appeared to me to be a regular queen sized bed. The inflation pump is extremely noisy and it seemed to take longer than 5 minutes to fully inflate the bed.... More like 7 or 8 minutes It provides a comfortable night's rest. However, I cannot state how the bed would hold up for long periods of use. It worked well ffor my guests for six nights By the way, you do need sheets on this air bed. It is not very cozy to sleep on it without sheets..

The rainfly fit the tent. The tent stayed dry when it rained. It is a good product.
