About a half club longer then my last set and the sound and feel are great. Even tho they are designed for mishits, I find that you can work the ball. I particularlly like the slight draw I get with them.

These clubs are very well balanced and very forgiving. I am hitting the ball better and farther than before. I compared them to several other brands before I found the deal here on Overstock.com and found that they were the best fit for me.

This is a great set of clubs for this price. I moved up from Bertha's to the X series and won't be looking back. Steel shaft is rigid and provides great weight and stability for straight shots Head is still somewhat forgiving for those of us who aren't scratch golfers :)

Very quick delivery time, so I was able to use them soon after. I think this is a very good set for the money. My game seems to have iimproved in so far as my distance has gotten better. Now I just have to work on my accuracy. The clubs are forgiving and the quality of Callaway is evident. I would recommend these clubs to beginners and more advanced golfers alike.

There's no proof that better equipment will improve your game, but after 8 years with my trusty starter set, I purchased these clubs, and here were the results: I was immediately accorded greater respect when I loaded the bag onto the cart and the others saw the Callaway X18s. The newfound respect took some of the pressure off performance on the first hole. The lack of pressure allowed me to focus on my game. The focus on my game allowed me relax on my swing and create an intimate feel with my club. The intimate feel gave me better control. The better control lowered my score. You figure it out. I love them.
