After a round of gold, the balls were very marked up. But at this prices once or twice is well worth the quality.

• Please tell us about the quality of the product. The golf balls had various markings and logos so not looking too good. Some look new.

with 9 out of 36 balls having bubbles in the paint, 9 of 36 are not playable at all. the only thing they are good for is practice. i haven't looked at the second bag of 36 and i'm not looking forward to it. when you read the product description, you get the impression that these balls are in good condition; that they are playable. after playing two rounds using them, i'd say they are a bit dead, the aerodynamics are a bit compromized, and the defects contained in most of the covers had an effect on my psychie (sp?). do yourself a favor and buy some new top flight D2 feel balls. they are the same price (about a $1 a ball) and perform nearly as well as a Pro V1. and that's saying alot. for the price, the D2 feel is unbeatable. they don't spin (bite) quite as much as a Pro V1, but they are very close. i'd definitely pass on the "recycled" HX tour 56.
