I gave it a four. Maybe the batteries are old, but, mine is not that bright. Not really a problem because I bought it to use pre-dawn in my ground blind and I don't want to have to wait that long to recover my vision. So, a four. But yes it will be fine for early morning in a blind.

This light is as bright as a lightbulb if not brighter. Easily lit the entire large tent I used camping. Inexpensive, easy to use and great light! No complaints.

I really like this light. It is incredibly bright - so much so that we had to face it towards to ceiling in the tent so it didn't hurt our eyes. I would be careful around small children because of brightness. I have only used it on one camping excusion so it is hard to rate durabilty. The battery compartment appears a bit fagile but I had no problems putting in batteries. I haven't used it long enough to know how long a rotation of batteries lasts. Overall, verypleased with the purchase.

This was a gift to my son from his son (a nine year old), for Father"s Day. This man has been in the military for 21 years and has seen MUCH. The one word that isn't used often by him to praise was soundly bestowed upon his gift "the Boomer Light". "OUTSTANDING!!!!!
