These are comfortable, they don't tax the knees or hips like ankle weights and you can wear them under your clothes. Every little bit helps and it feels good knowing you're doing something good for yourself during the day.

These leg sleeves are VERY well made, and very comfortable. I have even lent them to a co-worker to try under her khakis. I am still wearing capris to work, so haven't had much opportunity to wear them, except for on a walk with my husband. I look forward to getting more "mileage" out of my everyday activities by using them once the weather gets colder. Though they feel heavy enough when you pick them up, they are almost not heavy enough when wearing them! I wish they came in a10# version too, as I do have a somewhat muscular build, and am wondering if 5# is enough of a challenge for me. But.
I would definitely recommend them to anyone interested in getting a little more benefit from daily walking, etc.

I bought exact size to fit and based on other reviews, I am glad I did..I wouldn't want them to slip down..Can't wait to start using them for evening walks! The exact size is EXACT...no room to spare...but I figured as I trim down, they will fit for a long time.......
