This Chinese Checkers game is much smaller than I anticipated. It is travel size, not a normal sized game. It doesn't mention it anywhere in the description. I was terribly disappointed when the package arrived as a Christmas present and it was not at all what I was expecting.

I wanted an old fashioned parlor game that was easy to transport and fun to play. I do historic recreations of the Victorian era and thought this would be fun to add to our tables along with the perpetual games of whist.
The pieces, while colored prettily, are terribly easy to lose in a box that won't stay shut. The price was too high considering the likelihood that pieces would be lost almost immediately.
I recommend a larger game for those who for some odd reason don't have a computer and want to play such an antiquated game with kids or friends.

Buyer Beware! I never expected such a small playing board. I expected a full size board game. The pegs are too small for me to play this game with other adults...in fact, I would even have difficulty seeing the board unless I was sitting in very close proximity to other players. I will probably not return it because it's not worth the expense or hassle of mailing it back, so I'll keep it as a reminder to what happens if I don't pay attention.
