I love the little helicopters and have owned several through the years. i deided to upgrade to a big chopper which this item certainly is.But you get what you pay for and its made of such cheap plastic, it is impossible to use without breaking. Im good at flying choppers, and when I slowly took this out for a flight it just came apart on grass. Dont waste ur money it will be broken in first few flights. I have no idea what the other reviewers are thinking, but this is crap. Maybe they work for this company

Made in China. Within 3 minutes, the contraption crashed and the rotor snapped at the blade connection. The kid I bought this for looked at the adult with his mouth W-I-D-E open. Enough said!

This helicopter is fun to play with if you know what your doing, it takes some getting used to ,but once you know how to work the controls it's a really fun helicopter to fly.My son and i really enjoy it

Fun helicopter for the beginners and hobbyists. I have flow some 6 channel helicopters and find this a nice relaxing break. Easy to fly and not as much of an investment.

The Blue Thunder Helicopter looked great right out of the box. Unfortunately, the manual was worthless-obviously written by someone who didn't have english as their first language. This is my first Helicopter, so I knew nothing and had to look on the internet for help. Because I'm new at this, it flipped sideways several times. The blades were pitted but usuable and nothing else was hurt. I'd recommend this to a Friend but tell them to take it slow.

I bought two of these helicopters at the same time, one was for me the other was for my daughter. One of the helicopters was excellent, the other we could not get it off the ground and that was after we had to do fight to get the remote control to work. I ended up having to return my daughters helicopter because she could not fly it.

It's great to watch it sitting there on the ground waiting to take off, the LED lights are fantastic and you can't wait to lift off and fly around. However, around is all you get; since I can't get it to fly in a straight line to save my rear end. It's a total waste of money, because the technology is still back in the 80's; everything is still too tight and I can't get it adjusted to even fly one sortie in a straight line. I'm retired AF and know choppers. So, another peice of junk for my shed. Thanks for nothing. Remotes today shouldn't be so tight or missalinged. Keep working on it. It is a very pretty helicopter by the body is made out of cheap plastic material that will quickly break. The supports for the tail are connected by plastic not metal. If the manufacturer just put 10 cents more in the product they would fix most of these problems they arent major. However, it is keeping the product from being a excellent product

It is a lot of fun. They only major down side is the battery on the helicopter only lasts for 10min once you charge it for 2hours. This doesn't give you much time to fly. Once you get used to the controls you have run out of juice. Other than that is is a great helicopter, fly well, handles crashes well and comes with extra blades.

The helicopter flies beautifully; but, if you have never had any flying experience or experience with games such as xbox(?), it is very difficult to learn to fly. The first time we took it out, it flew out of range, traveled about 1/2 mile and landed in a hay field. We found the helicopter some time later with very slight damage - an indication of how well it's made. We finally asked our son who plays video games all the time to help us and he said the controls were very much like a game, so he had little trouble.

Recieved this toy a few days ago. The grand kids will never see it. I am having to much fun. Havent been able to use outside yet because of weather, but it is a blast in the house thus far ! The directions that came with it wasn't written by anyone who knows English or grammer , but I am figuring it out, a little at a time. I am thinking about ordering another one just as a back up, after all, I do expect to crash it several times after the weather gets nicer.

Bought this for a christmas gift. so far been great. takes a while to get use to controls and get them all trimmed. highly advise using training landing gear for a while. but great buy.Anybody know where to purchase extra blades?

I have bought a smaller helicopter in the past that was really hard to fly outside due to slight breezes. This one was SO much better and easier to control outside. I have spent hours with my kids in my backyard flying it around, and they love it. Even I was very entertained. It is amazing how easy it is to fly due to its large size (one of the biggest rc helicopters I have ever seen)! It even came with a few spare blades. The price was well worth it!!!
