AS a kindergarten teacher I was excited to purchase 5 players to use as a listening center. I am able to load multiple recorded "books" on each player. The player is easy to use, but the number are so small that it's hard for the children to read it to find the one that matches the number placed on the book. It says 001/026 meaning that it is recording number 1 of 26. Having the zeros in front is confusing for young children. After 2 months use, earphone jack on one of them is no longer working. Even when the headset (purchased separately) is plugged in, the sound still comes out into the room. I am worried that the same thing may happen to the other units, soon.

My kids love this toy. My daughter carries it around everywhere. To the park and in the car, it is great to keep your little ones occupied. The buttons are large enough to have them change the songs.

I got this for my almost 3 year old. She loves it and it stands up to dropping. It does not have the best speakers or a lot of memory. It did however come with 20 songs on it and we have added another 30 songs and still have more space. One problem we have had with it is that it is not compatible with the MP4s, so if you download songs as MP4s you will need to convert them to MP3s to get them to work on this machine.

Product seems like it works well but I can't figure out how to get more songs on it. I loaded some on itunes and copied them to the e folder but it won't play any. There aren't alot of instructions available and finding contact info. for the company has been impossible so far. Support for this product is lacking. If you know how to get the songs up would you please post a review with some help? Thank you

I bought this for my 4 year old grandson and he loves it. It is sturdy, it works, his mom downloads music on it and he takes it everywhere. It is perfect for a young child that wants to be big.

I bought this for my 3 1/2 year old girl. She loves playing with it. The buttons are big and straight forward. So far it has with stood being dropped several times, even on a cement floor. It is nice that it has an automatic shutoff if it's not played with. They company needs to include a list of all the songs that are prerecorded. And to list some websites to be able to download childrens music from.

Was a gift for our 4 year old grandson who loves music. We added several songs that we knew he really liked and he has had a great time with the player. Does not need earphones (but they can be used but not included) which is good for young kids. Would buy again.

The player performs as expected and is well constructed. It is rugged enough for small kids and easy to use.There is one caveat - both of the internal speakers are connected to only the left stereo channel. In the unit I received, the speakers were wired out of phase. On opening the unit to fix this, I noticed that both speakers are connected to the left channel only. The amp chip for the right channel is not populated on the system board, so it's not trivial to make it work properly.The headphone jack has both left and right.A minor flaw and probably not noticeable, but somewhat annoying.

We bought this for Christmas for our 3 year old son. He absolutly loves it! It seems durable and we love that we can put his favorite songs on it from our computer. Now he can listen to them whenever he wants to! I love shopping at Overstock.com. Although I mostly shop during the holiday season I always find awesome presents with reasonable price tags. I recently bought this MP3 player for my two girls (age 2 and 3). It comes with 20 preloaded songs...some you know, some new ones, but all very catchy and appropriate for young listeners. It was also extremely easy to load my own songs on it. Connect it to your computer (with the included cable) and start copying over songs. I have about 50 songs on there now and I am only using about 1/4 of the memory. The product is lightweight and seems to be durable (my kids are fairly gentle with toys though so its toughness hasn't fully been tested). The big buttons are easy for little fingers to operate. And as a parent, I like that it has a display so when the kids ask for a certain song, I can easily find it. The sound quality is great considering it is a toy for a child. And even the loudest volume setting isn't ridiculously loud. Overall a great product and I highly recommend it!

I like this mp3 player because it already came with songs and I was also able to upload my own, as well. The plasitc is durable and the player is very easy to use for my 4 year old. She loves to take it with her in the car on long trips. I always make sure to keep an extra set of batteries for her.
