My 9 year old absolutely loves skateboarding. This was a great project for us to do together. It does require that you look online for directions on building it if you don't already know how. It came with all the pieces you need. Be sure to have a new razor blade to trim the grip tape. The board is actually really nice and this set costs MUCH less than I have paid at local skate shops.
