The very heavy box was delivered right to my door in a snow storm. I just had to bring it inside. Don't try to lift the unit out of box. Just carefully cut the box away and lift the base off the styrofoam platform. The unit is a pretty good simulation of a road bike. The limited number of built in programs provide smooth transitions between levels. The control panel is a little hard to understand at first given the poor instructions but once you figure it out it is easy to get the desired program set up. The unit comes with a wall transformer which doesn't appear to have any function. The controls are activated by a built-in generator and automatically come on when pedalling. All moving parts except the very front of the flywheel are completely covered by guards. The adjusting handles both lock into the seat and handle bar posts and screw in to lock. This secures everything in place and contributes to the sturdy feel of the unit. The wide base and low center of gravity help too. I am a tall heavy rider and have no trouble getting on and off the bike. The unit has a couple of negatives which could be fixed by the user. While functional, the seat is pretty cheap and somewhat difficult to adjust. On the plus side, it looks like a standard mounting post and one could use another seat. The pedals are not very good either but they look like a stock item and these could be replaced too. They should be lubricated with a couple of drops of light machine oil before installing.Read More
Questions & Answers
Hello Valued Customer, I hope you are doing well. This is made in China. Thank you for shopping with us.
What is the drive system?
Thank you for contacting us cuccette4. The Aeropro uses a smooth and silent belt drive system. The key feature with the Aeropro is that it is a programmable bike which means there are programs that automatically change resistance. On a normal indoor cycle, resistance is manual, meaning the user has to turn a knob to increase or decrease the resistance. Aeropro has Self-generating power system eliminates the need for a plug and allows use of the cycle in any room, while still having a 50 lb. equivalent flywheel with magnetic resistance that is electronically controlled. I hope this helps. Please let us know if you have any further questions.
What is the flywheel weight?
The weight of the flywheel is 31lbs. Thank you for shopping with us.

How to Use Cycling Shoes
Cycling shoes are designed to improve a cyclist's performance. The sole of a cycling shoe has limited flexibility, which helps a cyclist concentrate all his or her power on pedaling. Cycling shoes also have special cleats that clip into clipless pedals (a very misleading name) to prevent the shoes from slipping off and allow you to pull up on your pedals, increasing your cycling performance. Once clipped in, the bike shoes will remain attached until the cyclist is ready to disengage. Cycling shoes are specially designed for various styles of cycling, including road racing, spinning, touring, off-road biking and mountain biking. Road-cycling shoes usually have slick plastic soles that aren't designed to provide traction. Mountain-bike shoes, on the other hand, look more like regular hiking shoes and are more suited to walking.
