We bought this item for 3 year old birthday. My Husband has a Kawasaki KLR that looks just like this and he wanted one "like" Daddy. My husband unboxed it and put it together. Assembly was not half bad, actually if you know how things work you may not even need the directions! The biggest flaw he noticed with this is the attachment of the handlebar to the fork mount. You are attaching a rond handle bar to a flat surface...it does not take much to see that this attachment point will not work. The handle bar rolls forward and backward. If you decide to tighten it up more with the screw and nut system, you will pull though the plastic sound board that comes with the bike. These two buttons make a pseudo dash board and control the headlight with a toggle switch. I never heard what sounds it is supposed to make b/c it never worked! Also the attachment of the fork to the frame has a lot of play in it! It is just not a sturdy bike.
Next they say for kids 5 and up, NO not true! It is made ...
