The bike was easy to build however its not a good ride. I had to take it to a bike shop for adjustments. Its pretty and shipping was excellent.

Overall, I liked the price, the bike is a quality one, the shipment was fast, but when it got here, assembly was difficult, and after giving up and taking it to a bike shop, I found out that some of the pre-assembled components on the bike were not assembled correctly. The bike shop guy did, however, give the overall bike a good review, so if you don't know anything about bike construction and are considering buying this model, be prepared to pay around 70 bucks to have someone else put on the unassemble parts for you, not to mention fix the parts that weren't put on right before it was shipped.

We purchased the pick bike for our 11 year old daughter with CP. It was excellent. After shopping around at different bike shops and realizing they did not have something she could use, we found this one. It was just what we needed. And the price was lower than anything we found at stores. Great Bike.

The instructions are very unclear. For example, the manual says to install the front tire, but fails to tell you exactly how to do it. I had to pay an additional 80 bucks to have a bike shop do it right. The price is right, but you will need some expert advice and tools to put it together.

I am pleased with this purchase. Would recomend having bike assembled by reputable bike shop, unless you have a fair amount of experiance in setting up the derailer system and properly preloading the wheel bearings and pedal crank bearings. the product is well built and solid, the accessories ar of good quality. Nice 20" girls mountain bike 6 speed. Worth the price paid.

Got as Christmas presents and the twins loved them. Seems to be a nice bike and sturdy. Ordered two of them, one box was a little damaged, but bike was fine - no damage at all. Took about 20 minutes to put the first one together, and about 10 for the second one. One bike had a rear wheel slightly out of align, which I need to take to the bike shop to have trued. Would purchase again.

Overall this is a fantastic 20" bike. It is well made and has the pedal and handlebar braking system to introduce kids to handlebar brakes. We tried several bikes at other bike shops that were double the price and this one seemed just as durable. The bike is a little bigger than the other 20" bikes and it would be difficult for a child to get on it if he is less than 48" tall.

I was very excited to take the bike out of the box and ride. That's not what happened. First of all the rear tube had a hole in it, so I had to buy one the next morning to even get the bike assembled. I'm sure I could have sent it back but didn't want to wait two weeks. After that issue was fixed, I had a really hard time adjusting the gears and brakes. They were so far off that the bike was almost not rideable. After a few hours of YouTube videos I now have it working fairly well. Still needs a tuneup but not as bad. You would be much better off to take the unassembeled bike still in the box to the local bike shop ans have them set it up. Overall pretty happy with the bike, I just wish I knew what it was going to take to get it going. About 50 miles on it and no defects so far.

I couldn't agree with the previous reviewer more! The bike came looking great. Assembly wasn't too hard. But the handle bars won't stay tight and the entire brake line needs replacing. I spend hundreds or even thousands of dollars with Overstock between my vacation rental homes and my design business. This is the first purchase I've made that has really been junk. The bike shop doesn't even want to touch it. We should have sent it back but didn't really realize all the issues until my daughter had ridden it a few times so I'm not sure they'd take it back at this point (plus, there's the dissambley).I don't know if their other bikes are this junky, but this is definitely my one and only bike purchase from overstock!

Gave it one star because negative stars weren't available. Terrible quality and terrible functionality. Bike lasted exactly two rides. On a Florida trail, broke the pedal, left and got it replaced. Then came back to continue the ride. Within 2 hours, the gear shifter broke and rear brake broke causing the back wheel to lock. The bike was built at a well known and highly regarded bike shop and they warned me about the craftsmanship. save you money. the cheapest huffy is better than this junk. Great example of poor manufacturing from China. Will never buy anything related to this company again.

We bought a delux and regular Triton. I couldn't get my Granddaughter to ride her bike while she was with me she liked the Triton so much. They're fun to ride and pretty easy to assemble. We stripped one pedal maybe because we didn't get it on tight enough. The factory sent us the parts free and we had a bicycle shop tighten it up. It can't be ridden in the road because of safety concerns but I'm afraid to ride in traffic anyway so we ride it in our park next door, etc. It only goes five to ten miles per hour and has one gear so no uphill riding. However for Seniors like us it's pretty fast. Actually so much fun shouldn't be allowed. My only regret is I didn't buy the bigger size for myself although my smaller one works fine. Great for kids since they expand like exercise equipment and your kid won't outgrow it for quite awhile unless they get over 5 8 and 220 pounds.

I purchased this bike for my 7 year old son. He outgrew the Mcqueen bike. Recieved the bike faster than I expected and it was well packaged. The bike is well built and look attractive. I think it is going to last a while for him.

My 7 year old Grandson was coming to AZ for a visit, along with his Mom and Dad. One of our favorite activities is riding our bikes around our gated community and to the pool and back. We were able to borrow two adult bikes for my son and daughter-in-law to ride. I decided I would buy a bike for my Grandson and found what looked like the perfect bike on Overstock. I read all the reviews and since the majority of them were favorable, I decided to go for it. Well, the bike arrived the exact day Overstock said it would arrive, which was also the day my family arrived in AZ. The bike couldn't have been more perfect. My Grandson brought his bike helmet with him and I had no idea what color it was. As it turned out, the bike was a beautiful bright blue and matched his helmet exactly. Thanks Overstock for offering great products at a good value!

I bought this for my granddaughter's birthday. I had it shipped to Arizona. My daughter-law said it was a little big for her. She will soon grow into it. She is two. Now she can be big like her brother and sister.

Though a bike is a large, expensive purchase, you should still spend a little extra money on bike parts and accessories. Assess your needs and get all the essential gear you need for road or trail cycling. Here are some of the items that will help you when bicycling.
As with most sports, cycling has an array of gear made specifically for it. Cycling shoes, for example, are designed to help a cyclist perform better. While regular tennis shoes or sneakers slip on the pedals of a bike, cycling shoes grip the pedals. The stiffness of the soles of these shoes combined with the ability to fasten to the pedals of the bike allow for optimum efficiency when cycling. If you are participating in cycling, it is necessary to buy biking shoes to get the most out of bike rides without wasting energy.
Replacing the tires on your bike is an important endeavor. Different types of bicycle tires are used for different circumstances. You wouldn't want to put tires used for mountain biking on your bike if you're just going to ride on your neighborhood streets and sidewalks. There are a number of things to consider when selecting any bicycle parts and accessories, like bicycle tires.
Finding the right bike seat is an important but challenging task. On the one hand, bike seats have the tendency to be chronically uncomfortable, so deciding which one will break the mold can be difficult. On the other hand, you'll be stuck cycling on your bike seat for hours at a time, so breaking that mold is exactly what you need to do. Break down your search of bicycle parts and accessories by a few key factors, and you'll find the right seat for you.
If you own a bicycle, at some point you will probably have to change the tires. Worn down or cracked bicycle tires can be very dangerous because the tube inside is exposed and may suddenly blow out if you ride over a sharp object. Another reason to change your bicycle tires is if you plan to ride on different types of terrain. You will need a tire with more traction if you switch from cycling on paved roads to cycling off-road, while tires that are narrower are more efficient on smooth, paved roads and trails. When it comes to safety, tires are one of the most important bicycle parts and accessories to consider.
Buying a bicycle for a child is a big deal. If you choose the right bike, you may quickly be elevated to "Coolest Parent/Grandparent/Other Adult Ever." On the other hand, if you choose the wrong one, you will probably find yourself on the unpopular list for quite some time. Aside from knowing their favorite colors and selecting baskets or bells, there are many factors to consider when choosing children's bicycles.
Bikes are as varied as the terrain you ride them on, and choosing the right bicycles can be a daunting task. Our bicycle buying guide will help you learn some cycling basics and the different bikes that are available for you to choose from.
Riding bikes is a hobby that adults and children share. Cycling provides good exercise, and bicycle commuting is an environmentally friendly way to travel. If you spend any time on a bike, you should know how to change or patch a bike tire so you don't get stranded somewhere.
Although cycling is something most people learn to do at a young age, it can be dangerous, and riders should wear a cycling helmet every time they ride a bicycle. Though wearing a cycling helmet will not prevent an accident, one of the following facts about wearing a helmet while cycling may be the one that saves your life.
BMX is short for bicycle motocross and refers to a sport that involves extreme racing on bicycles in motocross style, usually over dirt tracks. BMX bike racing started in southern California in the 1970s when kids started racing their standard bicycles over dirt tracks. This eventually evolved into the extreme sport that we see today. Now, "BMX bike" is a fairly generic term that can relate to any number of styles of bicycle, including all-terrain bikes and mountain bikes. The type of BMX bike you buy will depend on what you want to do with it and where you want to use it.
Cycling shoes are designed to improve a cyclist's performance. The sole of a cycling shoe has limited flexibility, which helps a cyclist concentrate all his or her power on pedaling. Cycling shoes also have special cleats that clip into clipless pedals (a very misleading name) to prevent the shoes from slipping off and allow you to pull up on your pedals, increasing your cycling performance. Once clipped in, the bike shoes will remain attached until the cyclist is ready to disengage. Cycling shoes are specially designed for various styles of cycling, including road racing, spinning, touring, off-road biking and mountain biking. Road-cycling shoes usually have slick plastic soles that aren't designed to provide traction. Mountain-bike shoes, on the other hand, look more like regular hiking shoes and are more suited to walking.
Choosing the right bicycle helmet will ensure both your safety and comfort. There are a variety of factors to consider when purchasing a bicycle helmet, so be sure to spend the time and shop carefully to choose the one that is right for you.

When choosing winter cycling apparel, keep in mind how cold the weather you'll be cycling in is. Choose apparel that is appropriate to the weather and that fits you well. Too many air pockets can make you cold, as can clothing that is too tight. Winter cycling can be a fun sport with the right clothing. Biking in winter can be comfortable with the right apparel.
