Great Little Bicycle for my Grandson

    Jul 9, 2013

My 7 year old Grandson was coming to AZ for a visit, along with his Mom and Dad. One of our favorite activities is riding our bikes around our gated community and to the pool and back. We were able to borrow two adult bikes for my son and daughter-in-law to ride. I decided I would buy a bike for my Grandson and found what looked like the perfect bike on Overstock. I read all the reviews and since the majority of them were favorable, I decided to go for it. Well, the bike arrived the exact day Overstock said it would arrive, which was also the day my family arrived in AZ. The bike couldn't have been more perfect. My Grandson brought his bike helmet with him and I had no idea what color it was. As it turned out, the bike was a beautiful bright blue and matched his helmet exactly. Thanks Overstock for offering great products at a good value!

I bought this bike mainly because its size. Even though it is an adult bike, it is not strong enough to hold someone heavy. Assemble was not easy .

This item is great for riding around the park. I have bad knees and this doesn't bother them. Great for someone who has balance problem, no falling off this.

This is a really fun recumbent bike! It can fit a large child up to adult, (I bought it for my tall 7 year old) with adjusting the center bar. It took my 23 year old son and I about an hour to put together, reading the directions and figuring it all out. It was not difficult but will be easier with two people doing it. It is extremely well-made and the directions and packaging were excellent! I would recommend it to anyone, and although it's pricey, it is a nice bike (big trike) and Overstock was the cheapest place I found for it, and trust me, I looked a lot of places. On Christmas Day, the kids in the neighborhood were all lined up to take turns riding our new "MOBO TRITON!" Love it!

  • I love, love, love this trike!

As a woman over 50, over 200 lbs., with Cerebral Palsy I never thought it would be possible to ride a bike! The Mobo Triton Pro has given me a grat amount of freedom and joy. With only one gear, inclines can be a slow go - but if you are on a flat surface you can really fly! The bike is low to the ground so sometimes getting up and down isn't "pretty" but don't let that stop you! You will love it! The seat is comfortable. The bike compacts so we have no problem getting it into the back of our Scion! It is designed well and you don't feel like you stick out with a cumbersome old-fashioned trike. At 55 lbs. it is manageable. As you are only 12.5 inches from the ground, street travel is not reccomended - although the trike does come with a safety flag. Buy it!
