peajay1964 from California, Rating:5.0We bought this about 2 years ago so that I could ride it as a recumbent bike for exercise. It's OK in that capacity but, since it has no chain and therefore only 1 gear, you can't get going very fast on it. I live in an area with no hills, so I can't even challenge myself by riding it up and down hills. But the good news is that the chassis can be lengthened or shortened for people of many different heights. My daughter has been able to ride it for those 2 years as well. All I have to do is loosen the big screw and slide the bar back. She's now 4'8". but she started riding it when she was only about 4'5". So you can see that its a great bike for all sizes. Everyone in the neighbord tells her she has a "cool bike" and all the kids want to ride it.

happy172 from Tasmania Australia, Rating:4.0Bike was easy enoguh to install, though i used my own allen key as didnt find one in box until i had finished building bike. Bike seat kept getting loose initially, problem is allen nut holding in place, replaced with 50 cent nut from hardward store and has been reliable ever since. Got a couple of flats initially on rear tyre, so have upgraded tubes to presta valve and tyres to michelin 700C Get lots of comments about how bike looks good. Gearrs generally run pretty smooth. Due to bike being alloy is a little biot heavier than modern day bikes, so you will struggle to keep up with lycra brigade up hills.

momof2inmd from MD, Rating:4.0Our 8-yr old son, who's tall for his age (55"), got this bike for Christmas. But, like other reviewers here and on other shopping sites warned, the pedals FELL OFF! The pedals were completely the wrong size for the crank arms! I do have to say that once we called the correct Bike USA number, they were very helpful and apologetic. They sent us a new set of pedals within just a few days. BUT, considering it's a known problem, we wish they'd just correct the problem at the manufacturing end. The only other technical issue is the hand brake does need adjusting and tightening to work properly, so be sure to check that as well before sending your child off on the bike. The good part is, the bike is solid and our son loves it. He's been riding it nearly every day, in spite of temps in the 30s.

ttxstatus from Florida, Rating:4.0The deal on the bike was pretty good. The package for shipping was not. The bike was rattling around on the inside when receiving the product. The handle bars had paint missing on the top. But bike functional and my daughter enjoys it!

atrah1 from Lafayette, LA, Rating:5.0Very easy to put together & my 3 yr old godchild loved it!!! Just as described & fast shipping, however, is not shipped discreetly. Outside of box advertised the bike.
