All-terrain Bicycles

An all-terrain bicycle is a whole different animal from standard city bikes. The frame has to be stronger than other styles of bicycles and the wide tires feature dirt-gripping knobs and strong, reinforced rims. Most all-terrain bikes also have a choice of gears, allowing the rider to power through difficult terrain changes. Many all-terrain bicycles even offer suspension systems to help offset the bumps and jarring impacts that are inevitable when riding through unforgiving territory.
Riding a bicycle is pretty easy. Most children know how to do it, and lots of adults ride bikes through their neighborhoods to get a bit of exercise. But once you get off the road and into the outback, cycling becomes a whole new adventure. Whether you're traversing streams, climbing mountains or hopping boulders, you're going to need a high-quality, sturdy, all-terrain bike to get the job done.
There are many places you can buy quality, discount all-terrain bikes, but finding the right bicycle at the right price is more of a challenge. That's why shopping for your bike at is such a great idea. With deep discount pricing and low everyday shipping charges, will save you a bundle on a new all-terrain bicycle. And with all the money you'll save, you can stock up on all of your other sports equipment at -- your online sports and fitness outlet.

I love this bike. I bought it for my son who has cerebral palsy. He has always wanted to ride bikes with his twin brother but cannot ride regular bikes. And I cannot afford the bikes made especially for someone with his condition as they can cost thousands of dollars. But with some pedal straps and a five point harness I believe that he can ride this. The only problem I have with it is that the first ride and one of the rear tires popped. No hot-dogging just a simple ride. So that is why I only gave it a 4 star rating. So now I have to have it repaired or buy a new tube. But that won't be expensive. You would just think that the tires would be much sturdier as the weight limit is 250 lbs. My sister only weighs a little over 130 so I know she wasn't too heavy. Other than that so far so good.

Great Little Bicycle for my Grandson

My 7 year old Grandson was coming to AZ for a visit, along with his Mom and Dad. One of our favorite activities is riding our bikes around our gated community and to the pool and back. We were able to borrow two adult bikes for my son and daughter-in-law to ride. I decided I would buy a bike for my Grandson and found what looked like the perfect bike on Overstock. I read all the reviews and since the majority of them were favorable, I decided to go for it. Well, the bike arrived the exact day Overstock said it would arrive, which was also the day my family arrived in AZ. The bike couldn't have been more perfect. My Grandson brought his bike helmet with him and I had no idea what color it was. As it turned out, the bike was a beautiful bright blue and matched his helmet exactly. Thanks Overstock for offering great products at a good value!

I'm a 40 something recreational rider, 4-8 miles on a weekend, making it part of my fitness routine. Works for a bike this price range. Shifters are accurate but chain slips on low rear sprocket. When cruising, there is noticeable clicking from rear hub which sounds like loose bearing balls but bearings are sealed tightly. When riding, it feels heavier than my $150 Comfort Bike but it runs faster and it is more steady. The stem is too long for a bike this size. It should have been 10-20 mm shorter. I also had to replace the pedals as I prefer riding w/o clip which is a personal choice. I should mention clip parts are made of plastic. Wish it was priced lower but overall satisfied with this purchase.

The bike was purchased for my 10 year old daughter. Since she loves purple, it was a great choice. We like that is has gears, her previous bike had only one speed and she had trouble keeping up with her adult siblings. Since she is growing, we got this bike and lowered the seat so it fits now but can raise it as she grows.
