There were no directions for assembly, and although it wasn't rocket science, the handle bars took a bit to figure out. The manual that came with the bike was not for the one we received. The bolts were screwed on so tightly that I had to go to the bike store to get one of them off! They told me that the training wheels were not secure with what was provided and added some bolts. The bike is fine if you want something cheap and not pink, but if you appreciate quality, go to a bike store!

My husband and I bought the his and hers pair. We get a lot of compliments and we think the ride is very comfortable.

This item is great for riding around the park. I have bad knees and this doesn't bother them. Great for someone who has balance problem, no falling off this.

Cruiser should be described a little more thoroughly. If I had been aware of the fact that it is difficult to pedal up a hill; doesn't turn in a 360 degree circle; and may not be appropriate for those children who wish to pedal swiftly I wouldn't have purchased it. I wanted to give my Grandchild a very special Christmas gift, and it was sad to know that he was so disappointed with it.

My 6-year old son is very happy with this bike. We were a little hesitant with the photo looking like the handlebars sat too high and a review about the seat being too hard, but those are not a problem. Seems like a great bike for the price, has a great look and will easily last him two hard years of riding. Found the bike on other sites, but Overstock had the best price. Would recommend this bike without hesitation within this price bracket.

I ordered this for myself; I am a 40ish female with very bad (and premature) lower back problems, so riding a regular bike doesn't appeal to me because of the pressure put on the low back. I have always like using recumbent exercise bikes, as they are so much more comfortable than an upright bike. I have a 3 year old son who I plan on pulling in a bike trailer behind me (although I need to figure out how to rig the trailer up to this trike, since trailers are meant for attaching to a bicycle wheel hub ... I may have found a way with a BMX trick attachment -- have yet to try it out). But in the meantime, I have taken my son on my lap riding this thing ... and it was FUN! And comfortable for me and my back! The steering is cool. It was such fun that I bought my son the Mobo Mini for now, and the Mobito for when he gets older. He is a tall 3 year old ... not ready for the Mobito, but might soon outgrow the Mini ... he can pedal the Mini good (he has not been able to really pedal plastic type tricycles), the Mobo seems to pedal much easier and smoother than plastic tricycles/big wheels. I'd like to buy my husband a Mobo, but he is 6"4" and skeptical about it (it is an expensive thing to buy without trying it out because of the return shipping cost and restocking fee). But for me it worked out great (I am 5'4", 115 lbs). Anyhow -- very fun for the young at heart! I think my mom in her upper 60s will enjoy it when she visits too (she's had two hip replacements and a knee replacement) ... she is fun-loving and likes riding bikes, but this trike should be better for her condition. You do need a place where you can ride on flat pavement though, like park or beach sidewalks with no hills.

little granddaughter for Christmas. she is a little tom boy so it was nice to find a little girls bike that was not pink. she is really small for her age of four and this bike with some adjustments was perfect fit. it is very sturdy and very strong qualithy. it took five minutes to assemble and im not handy. She was beaming when she got it.

Having multiple aged grandchildren, our 3 adult children, my husband and I we chose the 20" Mobo Ultimate Pro for the convenience mostly of any or all of us being able to ride the bike with just having to adjust the length on the frame. The adjustment is easy, Our almost 6yr old grand-daughter Kasey knows how and can make the adjustment. Myself having not ridden a bike in probably 15+ years and Kasey having epilepsy were two of the reasons we chose this Mobo also. I was concerned with health issues I had been having the past few years, along with my doctor considering my health as FRAGILE that I would be lucky to be able to ride any bike. The bike for Kasey, we chose for her to be safer on her rides. I have to tell you the bike is awesome. Ok,, we read the reviews....it is a pedal bike, not a 10 speed or 3 speed just a pedal bike. We are having a ball with it. Certianly iss exercise, but it hasn't seemed like it. Pure fun to ride. Myself I have been riding approx. 4 miles a day. The very first day I rode 6 miles (in 3 diff rides). Amazed I was and am. Many said to me "OOOOOO, you are going to be sore tomorrow." Have not been yet. For anyone concerned about the leaning forward on a traditional bike and the pressure put on your wrists and hands, also your arms supporting your head and upper body...that is gone here with the Mobo. I am sitting back, pretty comfy and pedaling. I cannot say enough good about this bike. the only complaint Kasey has is that it is not pink and/or purple. My husband and I said we'd wished we had known about this bike when our twins were young. The Mobo could have eliminated the multiple bike purchases as our kids grew. Kasey has LONG legs and she can ride this bike wonderfully. She loves it. My husband and I are riding the Mobo. I am riding it almost daily when it has not been raining. Several friends have tried this bike. My daughter-in-law usually does not ride a bike because it has hurt her knees even when she was a child/teen....she has ridden once and no knee pain, just some good humored teasing as she rode in her work uniform and she is a security guard...it was then Kasey thought the Mobo needed a siren as the "cops was coming, the cops was coming" shouted Kasey with glee when her Mom rode. Ok, I think we have given you the idea we are loving this bike. Not only do we love this bike, we have 2 more being delivered today. If you want to go fast, this bike is not for you, want to ride and have fun, I would definitely recommend this bike.

Only with the caviate you have to have a flat place to ride it. It is not supposed to be ridden on a road so good luck having fun with it in the city. Goes down hill great. Uphill not so much.

Just put the bike together yesterday and it was easy enough to follow the directions - some tools required. Again, another good "Overstock.com" experience. I order with confidence and have had only one product that had to be returned because of size in the 4 years since I started with Overstock and the customer service department was very gracious.

This is a nice three wheeler but I prefer the Mobo Triton Pro. The pro is more comfortable and the steering is easier. The backup feature of the Shift is nice but I rarely if ever use it. If I were to buy another I would buy the Triton Pro version.

In regards to what another reviewer terms as "unsafe", the "problem" she describes is known as toe overlap and is very common, especially on bicycles with smaller frames and larger wheels. It's not an unsafe condition and the majority of riders who experience toe overlap never have a problem while riding. The overlap occurs mostly at very low speeds and riders adjust their pedal position accordingly, soon becoming second nature. Also, if the majority of cyclist are pedaling with the arch of their foot in the middle of the pedal as claimed, they are doing it wrong. The proper foot position on a pedal is for the ball of the foot to be positioned over the center of the pedal. This bicycle is no more unsafe than the millions of other bicycles that have toe overlap.

I purchased two of these bikes for Christmas presents for my 8 and 10 year old boys. We had problems with one of them, but Overstock made it so easy to return and replace it that I was very impressed with their Customer Service department. The boys love the way the bikes handle and the manual and pedal brakes are really good. I would definetely recommend these bicycles to all my friends.

My sponsor bought this bike for me to ride during the TT stage of TOF. I won first place. If you peddle fast enough you can fly, literally(because there are built in jet packs not listed in the details). the saddle was gentile on my perpetual cycling provoked hemorrhoids, so that is a good feature. I would not recommend this bike to a friend because I would not want my friend to have same amount of awesomeness as me that comes with buying this bike. Haters gon hate.

Very attractive looking bike - I get lots of compliments on it. I also purchase the Tour de France bike bag as well which makes for a nice set. We now have two bikes that we take on the back of our RV. The tires are wide enough to ride around on dirt roads but I wouldn't recommend for mountain biking. The price is excellent for the quality of this bike.
Bikes are as varied as the terrain you ride them on, and choosing the right bicycles can be a daunting task. Our bicycle buying guide will help you learn some cycling basics and the different bikes that are available for you to choose from.
Finding the right bike seat is an important but challenging task. On the one hand, bike seats have the tendency to be chronically uncomfortable, so deciding which one will break the mold can be difficult. On the other hand, you'll be stuck cycling on your bike seat for hours at a time, so breaking that mold is exactly what you need to do. Break down your search of bicycle parts and accessories by a few key factors, and you'll find the right seat for you.
Replacing the tires on your bike is an important endeavor. Different types of bicycle tires are used for different circumstances. You wouldn't want to put tires used for mountain biking on your bike if you're just going to ride on your neighborhood streets and sidewalks. There are a number of things to consider when selecting any bicycle parts and accessories, like bicycle tires.
Riding bikes is a hobby that adults and children share. Cycling provides good exercise, and bicycle commuting is an environmentally friendly way to travel. If you spend any time on a bike, you should know how to change or patch a bike tire so you don't get stranded somewhere.
Buying a bicycle for a child is a big deal. If you choose the right bike, you may quickly be elevated to "Coolest Parent/Grandparent/Other Adult Ever." On the other hand, if you choose the wrong one, you will probably find yourself on the unpopular list for quite some time. Aside from knowing their favorite colors and selecting baskets or bells, there are many factors to consider when choosing children's bicycles.
If you own a bicycle, at some point you will probably have to change the tires. Worn down or cracked bicycle tires can be very dangerous because the tube inside is exposed and may suddenly blow out if you ride over a sharp object. Another reason to change your bicycle tires is if you plan to ride on different types of terrain. You will need a tire with more traction if you switch from cycling on paved roads to cycling off-road, while tires that are narrower are more efficient on smooth, paved roads and trails. When it comes to safety, tires are one of the most important bicycle parts and accessories to consider.
Choosing the right bicycle helmet will ensure both your safety and comfort. There are a variety of factors to consider when purchasing a bicycle helmet, so be sure to spend the time and shop carefully to choose the one that is right for you.
Though a bike is a large, expensive purchase, you should still spend a little extra money on bike parts and accessories. Assess your needs and get all the essential gear you need for road or trail cycling. Here are some of the items that will help you when bicycling.
Exercise bicycles allow you to get a thorough fitness workout without having to leave the house. Because there are so many different exercise bikes available, you will need to weigh your options carefully before picking the one that best fits your exercise routine. From overall size to back support, there are a host of differences among exercise bikes that can determine the one home gym machine that is right for you.
Bicycle helmet safety is the key to minimizing head injuries while cycling, either for recreation or commuting. Some states do not have bicycle helmet laws, although about 150 municipalities nationwide have bike helmet ordinances on the books. Riders and parents living in states with no bike helmet laws must be vigilant to ensure family members are equipped with the proper helmets.
BMX is short for bicycle motocross and refers to a sport that involves extreme racing on bicycles in motocross style, usually over dirt tracks. BMX bike racing started in southern California in the 1970s when kids started racing their standard bicycles over dirt tracks. This eventually evolved into the extreme sport that we see today. Now, "BMX bike" is a fairly generic term that can relate to any number of styles of bicycle, including all-terrain bikes and mountain bikes. The type of BMX bike you buy will depend on what you want to do with it and where you want to use it.

Ever since they appeared in California in the 1960s, BMX bikes have been a standard mode of transportation for kids. That's partly because BMX bicycles are the right size and partly because they're durable, but it's also due in large part to the fact that BMX bikes are simply cool. They're made for riding around in the dirt and jumping off ramps, and it doesn't get a whole lot cooler than that for a ten year old (if not their parents). If you're a parent and you're not sold on just how awesome BMX bikes are for young kids, you can still appreciate the fact that they make great beginner bikes. They're built to withstand a lot of abuse, and the design is simple enough that repairs and adjustments are infrequent and easy. Keep reading for more information on why a BMX bike may be the right bike for your child and tips on choosing the right bike.

As with most sports, cycling has an array of gear made specifically for it. Cycling shoes, for example, are designed to help a cyclist perform better. While regular tennis shoes or sneakers slip on the pedals of a bike, cycling shoes grip the pedals. The stiffness of the soles of these shoes combined with the ability to fasten to the pedals of the bike allow for optimum efficiency when cycling. If you are participating in cycling, it is necessary to buy biking shoes to get the most out of bike rides without wasting energy.
