Hi! What is the waterproof factor for this tent? Thank you!
Perfect for our oversized cots, and room to stand up in. No matter what the directions say, stake it down first. Poles for the rain fly are umarked, but are a little longer. Directions are pretty straigt forward, though others may think differently. Always set it up at least once before camping. ( No stress )...

Ordered this tent because we were looking for something tall enough to walk around in and roomy enough for our sleeping cots and clothes. Also the rain fly covers the windows and doors. We are only sleeping 2 people but wanted a roomy tent for rainy days. Can even put our chairs inside as needed. This tent is perfect. The bottom is made out of tarp material so I put down a quilt for noise factor and comfort. It works great.Read More
This review is based only on a "trial run" setup of the tent, but so far, we are very pleased. Everything seems sturdy and well made. It is a heck of a large, airy tent. Last year, we camped with some friends, who slept in our old tent while we slept in our popup. The old tent was a dome tent, and once the camping bed was set up, our claustrophobic friend could barely stand to be inside it. That will NOT be a problem with this tent. Plenty of headroom, and lots of clearance to move around, even with a queen size camp bed inside. Doors on two sides, and great big windows on the other two. Looks as if it will hold up well. Excellent product for the price. Before buying, I studied reviews on every site where I could find this tent, and reviewers praised it for holding up well to wind and weather, so I expect we will get plenty of use out of it.Read More
Questions & Answers
Thank you for the question. This is a 3 season tent, I hope that I answered the question.
Hi, I was wondering the same thing so looked on various sites about how waterproof it is. One place said the bathtub type bottom keeps water from seeping in. And that the way the rainfly is keeps water out of the windows and door. I have no idea how well that actually works. It's sure a concern though, the waterproof thing!
How to Choose a Tent
It can be so great to be out in nature camping, roasting marshmallows and gazing up at the stars. But after a day full of the outdoors, it's time to retire to your home away from home, your tent. It won't give you all the conveniences of home, but a tent should keep you dry and protected from critters while you sleep. It should also hold most of your camping gear and give you a place to go if the weather isn't cooperating. So buy a tent hoping you will only sleep in it, but also buy a tent that will be comfortable to be awake in as well.

Camping and hiking should be enjoyable, and they certainly can be if you know how to set up your camping and hiking equipment. Here are the steps that will help you set up tents for camping quickly and efficiently.

Will you be using it for year-round camping and hiking or only camping and outdoor activities in spring or summer? Will you be sleeping in your vehicle, in a tent or under the stars? How to Choose Sheets for an Inflatable Mattress
An inflatable mattress is indispensible as extra bedroom furniture when you have houseguests or as a comfortable resting place when you're enjoying the great outdoors (from the safety of a tent). Packing for a cruise is not quite the same as packing for a hotel stay. While you may spend seven days on a cruise and need the same amount of clothing as you would need for a land-based vacation, you simply cannot pack for a cruise in the same way as you would for a trip to the mountains or beach. The reason for this is that the average cruise ship cabin is going to have about half the square footage as the average hotel room. Your luggage choice needs to reflect this confined space.
