Loved this game as a kid. New game does not work
I tried to get this game for my boy as I loved it as a kid. Unfortunately, the game board was warped so the ball could not roll around. I contacted Overstock and they were absolutely fantastic in helping me try a different game. Exchanging was a breeze. A new game arrived and the exact same problem applied to the new box. Again, Overstock was wonderful and refunded my money. I am sad as this game could have been great but the company IDEAL needs to come up with a better way to manufacture the game.

Bas-ket Board Game
The product was made poorly, utilizing plastic for the "shooting mechanism", as opposed to metal. When pulling the levers to shoot the ball, it would pop straight into the air due to the angle of the shooting mechanism being incorrectly (or unable) to shoot the ball at an angle. I tried on several occasions to position the mechanism in various ways, with no success.

- Please tell us about the quality of the product. Poorly constructed of plastic. I thought it was a re-make of a game I had as a child, which used metal for the spring mechanisms.

A classic game
I bought this classic game for my 3 sons to enjoy because I enjoyed it as a kid. The updated version is true to the classic, but a little more sturdy and built out of plastic levers rather than the steel rods I remember as a kid. This game requires some touch to make a basket with just the right pull on the lever. It also requires patience waiting for the ball to roll into a hole for the next shot. It's a nice break from fast paced video games and allows conversation while still developing hand eye coordination. The only problems I had were the court indentions did not seem to let the ball roll freely and equally to all the shooting spots on the court. And the backboards leaned slightly instead of standing straight up.
