The product shipped and arrived quickly. I bought this safe for the purpose of having my handgun readily accessible by my bed. I have three kids, and the point is to keep the gun locked up from them. I programmed each of my index fingers in five different positions. I programmed my wife's two index fingers in the same manner. I have had it for three weeks and open and close it at least twice a day. So far it has not failed to open once for either of us. I also made all of my kids try it, and it has never opened for any non-programmed finger. I'm very happy with it I'm all aspects.

    I bought this safe for my husband for Christmas. He just got around to taking it out of the box. Well, it does not work. He tried everything. It is suppose to recognize your fingerprint and does not even give a troubleshooting instruction to follow. I discarded the packing box it came in and with it the invoice at Christmas time . I'm stuck with a $$$$$$$ piece of Steele until I have time to contact **********to get a forwarding address to ship back. I'm wondering if its worth it ,considering how much the shipping cost will be. Don't buy this safe, it's not worth it.
