The first week I cut my registered finger and it would not recognize. Also make sure your finger is clean, but that aside it seems to work well as place for prescription medicines, wallets and other security keys.

    Purchased as a gift - delivered promptly- works as advertised. There was some concern that a fingerprint left on the reader could be used to open the safe, but that did not seem to be the case. Only the person whose fingerprints were used could open the safe. Best to wipe the screen after use though - just to be sure.
