For the price, I was not expecting much. I was pleasantly surprised when this scope surpassed all of my expectations. To get all the options available in this scope, you will spend well over $500. I mounted it on my new Remington 700 .308 Varmint. After 60 rounds at the range, it has kept it's zero. The view remains clear from 6.5x all the way up to 20x. The First Focal Pane reticle is perfect for those wanting to estimate range without dumping money into a laser range finder. Most other scopes can only calculate range at a predetermined zoom setting (eg. only at 4x, 10x, etc) FFP allows you to calculate range at any zoom level because the reticle grows and shrinks with the zoom. The Mil-Dot system makes calculating holdover and windage on the fly effortless once you know how the system works. The icing on the cake is the parallax dial. Anyone that doesn't know what it does should look it up and see what they're missing on the bulk of scopes available. It's not much use under 100 yards/meters, but for those long shots, it can make or break you. Finally, the illuminated reticle. This comes in handy for situations where your target in a shaded area and your black reticle kind of disappears in the foliage. The max brightness is a little too bright for low light conditions, being that it makes the entire view glow green. Max brightness is for full blown daylight. The lower end of the settings will treat you well in twilight and very low light conditions. All in all, I would recommend this scope to anyone looking for a cost effective alternative to the $500-$1000 scopes that don't have the features that this one brings to the table. Pick one up, you will not be disappointed.

    Great scope for the price I have found it is a little hard to sight in the object quickly so that takes a little getting used to. Other than that the visibility is amazing and easy to use features.
