Upon receipt I noticed the packaging was not pristine as it usually is. I also noticed the mount rings were not in the package. I contacted O.CO and they agreed to send the missing rings. We decided that since we had another 30 mm scope from Barska on another weapon we would mount and 'zero' the new scope. After mounting we noticed that when you align the adjustment mechanisms on top and side the cross-hairs are positioned on an angle. To correct this you have to mount the scope on a 5 or 6 degree angle. Totally unacceptable. So in review, we can only assume that since the packaging was disrupted, the rings were missing and the scope manufacturing was incorrect, this was a return that somehow got back to the shipping line without repair and adjustment. I own several other Barska optics and this is the second one I have had problems with. They are usually very good quality. O.CO as usual is excellent to deal with so far. We will see what kind of service I get on the replacement scope.More to follow.
