Barska 4x28 IR Mil-Dot Electro Sight Rifle Scope

Overall a very average scope, it would be great for airsoft or maybe a 22 cal plinker. I took a chance and bought this for my AR-10 and after 10 rounds the base came loose and now the scopes wobbles on the base. I then tried it on my AR-15 to see if it might be able to handle the lighter recoil, the same thing happened. I went cheap and learned my lesson, oh well I have a ***** on the way so all is well.

Mounted on DPMS AR 15 with rail and riser mount. This scope is not all bad and unfortunately the quality control of the manufacturer is the big problem. It has a lot of good features that, if they all worked, would result in this scope being a huge bargain for the price. The mounting is easy and very secure. It is ruggedly built and the extra rails are nice. The problem with mine is that it goes from somewhat clear to blurry and back within minutes. Almost has to have something loose inside. Also, sometimes there are 2 horizontal reticles and sometimes there is one. It looks like railroad tracks crossing a highway and creates a guessing game as to which intersection to use for aiming. I was with a friend at the range and I asked him to shoot it and when he looked thru the scope, the first thing out of his mouth was " there's two horizontal lines and it's so blurry I can't see the bullseye clearly. Two independent sets of eyes confirm that the scope has issues inside. I wish it was good cause I like the way it looks and the features but if you can't see the bullseye you might as well not have a scope on your rifle. Sending back for refund and buying another Barska(different model) and hoping for the best

It looks great and so far no negative concens. I haven't had a chance fire with it yet. It should be alright.
